I have been searching for sources of information on what an appropriate dosage of clove oil would be. One website advises 15-30 drops 3 times a day in a cup of warm water. http://www.nutrasanus.com/clove-oil.htmlThis seems quite excessive. I started out taking 3 drops 3 times a day. Today I took 7 drops. Is 7 drops 3 times a day excessive? I was searching on the net for how much clove oil is equal to a certain amount of ground cloves. I can't seem to find this. Another website has this. "EXTRACT = 5 to 30 drops in water OIL = 1 to 5 drops in water or on a sugar cube" http://earthnotes.tripod.com/clove.htmSo perhaps the first website meant 15-30 drops of the extract, not the oil? Perhaps 5 drops 3 times a day for the oil is an appropriate dose? since finding the second website, I am more comfortable with 5-7 drops of the oil 3 times a day as being a large enough dosage. I still have no idea what this is equivalent to in terms of ground cloves.
