Hi Lyynmn, I'm new-but that looks like the lycria & loritab hopepage. My wife is having a hard time with this, but in just two weeks-taking melotonin suppliment for sleep & 1 cap(you can take 6 per day) of St. John's wart, her 'brain fog' & depression/sleeplessness have dissapeared. She's following a Dr. in Birmingham who says in short-'all the symptoms of Fibro/IBS/fatigue...etc will be made worse by these meds(or masked) It's all diet ,vitamins, etc to elimininate the problem(s)

Hi Mark, ((( Smiles )))
I like melotonin as well it's good. I took that also for sleep with my hyperacusis. Thats true... Alot of things can be made worse by these meds(or masked). I had to go on an anti- depressant though sleeping medication for awhile and then weaned off of it and tried other things instead.. Also I tried 5-Htp and I liked that too.. Hyperacusis being a symptom can go along with alot of medical problems/disorders.. But I think in alot of cases if one can go that alone.. Like you wrote.. It's all diet ,vitamins, etc to elimininate the problem(s) That with also including sound therapy when it comes to H of course.. I tried to put both together & it seemed to work well for me. Thats great news glad to hear.. her 'brain fog' & depression/sleeplessness have dissapeared. This is an interesting board.. Lots to read here and lots of people that are like minded as well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do..
Take Care Lynn
