My doctor called mercury a neourotoxin, he said that is why every bone in my body, especially at the endpoints, knees, elbows, heels, toes, fingertips, even my behind, base of the spine, hurt like heck when I was real sick.
which is exactly why I had trouble walking btw... even though I was pretty numb all over, I knew I was strong, so my muscles worked even though they 'felt' weak, they really weren't, but I could not kneel without screaming in pain, literally, or rest my elbow against anything. or walk without saying yikes with every step because my heels especially were so sensitive, it was extremely painful.
my fingertips still hurt from time to time, and my heels.
