Hi, Here's a fun experiment. Get some amalgams out the day before you leave for Europe. Having a panic attack on an airplane has to be experienced to be believed. Thanks for your replies.

The dentist didn't give me air, but there was some sort of machine from Sweden (I think) that was meant to suck up the airborn merucury.

As instructed, I went home immediately, had a thorough shower and washed my clothes. I felt fine the rest of the day, but things started getting bad by the evening (which is when I last wrote.) I got on the plane at 1pm the next day, and was basically unconcious until we touched down on the next stop some hours later.

On the next leg, the tinitus started, accompanied by the feeling that I couldn't breathand that I was incredibly dehydrated, even though I kept drinking water. Several hours later (the entire trip took 44 hours), only the knowledge of what had happened to me kept me from actually believing that I was going to die.

The Algin has been a saviour, and I've been popping it with Vits C, B & E, and Magnesium. I started with 5 three times a day, and am now down to 2 three times a day. I've still got 4 more to go. One is actually a wisdom tooth which is 40% filling. I'm just going to have it extracted. I hope that will distrub less of the mercury.

The thing of course is that being in New Zealand, I'm actually lucky to find a dentist who will take any precautions at all. I know he'd think I was a nutcase if I told him about my experiences. So, I'm not sure what I can do. I definately want them out of my head, so I think it's just a matter of managing it for the first few weeks.

Defiinately looking forward to chelation once this is all over.

Thanks,

Eric
