Hi Everybody, (( Smiles ))
We went through firecracker/firework season.
What do Lyme disease and firecrackers have in common??
Do tell.. Hyperacusis and sound sensitivity's.
But we all know that...
The things that can cause ones to come down with hyperacusis..
Toxins, a sprinkle of Lyme Disease with noise...
Ah what a mix besides that toxic cloud in the sky that
rains down on you..
Time to get outside and make sure we build our barrier of sorts. Well there may be better times of the year to build
the barrier to limit the critters and according to headline news CNN ...
Thousands are diagonised with lyme disease every year and then there are thoses that have lyme and don't know it yet....
Heres the timetable for Lyme....
Timeline of Lyme Disease
1975 First Lyme Disease case reported (Lyme, Connecticut)
1981 Microbe identified
1989 OspA (an outer surface protein) found and cloned
early 1990s OspA antibodies found in many patients with chronic Lyme disease
1990-92 Vaccinations with rOspA found to protect mice against Lyme disease infections
1992-95 Vaccinations with rOspA tested in other animals
1995 Lyme vaccine found safe and effective in persons with Lyme disease
1995-98 Vaccine found safe and effective in people without Lyme disease
1998 FDA approved Lyme vaccine
2002 Manufacturer pulls vaccine from the market
adapted from NIAID Lyme Disease website
Got to love that vaccine....
So... the natural barrier is to surround lawns
and other area's to limit the ticks as they prefere moist wooded lawn area's and overgrown field's and don't like
much non moist hot or warmer area's .....
Bark and rocks.. A beautiful bark border or how about a nice rock garden with maybe steping stones zig zaging here and there..
Thats allways fun...
Beautiful pathways and less tick vegetation....
Be creative....
There are so many beautiful rock variety of colors out there...
And lots of plastic to cover underneath with too...
Do what you can...

Rock gardens are fun.....
And stay away from fireworks..
It's a loud toxic mess..
T.V's allways good.......
Works for me...
