After the Falling skies, , the tongue's tumults, the grave injustices, the travesties-- stalks the irony that would equate the honerable with a thing of hate.
Uncompromised , we stand our ground but find no listening ear, we stand brused but uncrushed in the sunless air.
How could we be free to turn away when we cannot forget the violent are loved-- like us have names, like us , have mothers , memories , homes , dreams ... ?
After so much, so much is left unsaid, undone. We search for what remains negotiable.
Now you recall true peace is not the mere absence of war.
The fact we are here Standing undaunted in the darkening rain, tending the smokeing flax , yearning for honor the lost love behind the flailing hand.
For whatever is said , whatever is done, we listen with our lives to hear the deep peace behind the faltering lips; under the weather of words, discern the unshaken , the Christ, the sound of brotherhood unbroken down it's silver history.......
You're listening to the whisper of Christian careing whose unhurried strengths grow freshly within your deeds,
For what you heed now stop's the world's rape of reason , discovers light under shadows , if God has not spoken, not a word has been said,
In jungle, board room, home, a new stillness flows: enemy nods to enemy , hands go out to meet ; you find there is nothing to condemn.
Thou shalt kill another's hopes , ideas, friend God's peace in you becomes desire to bless. In this, you find no retreat.
At every point forgiveness in His will, and as you pray you see a marvelous thing--- there is a death of sins: you glimpse the alchemy of Spirit turning
Fear, lust envy, revenge, into blessings that overtake the aggresive ones.
Light steals down the hurt stem: the bruised reed straightens.
Are you surprised that in your heart the first bright leaves sprout , the last. wars die .... ?

Listen ! .... Listen !... Listen !.... echoing...... down the centuries from yesteryear, There is a voice.... if we but hear.... Calling ....calling...calling.... "... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Who , me ? ... who, me ?....... who, me ?...
Wisdom will take us to where the young babe lies, the empires of indifference , greed , jealousy, despair ( the so-called Kings ),
Must bow down ( give way ) to the new birth which came to earth, As the light to lighten the world, and thoses , too, who would hope to know the way--- the shepherds of today as yesterday----
Must yield to the allways dawn: the light and power and presence of God, with us each awakeing morn, The Christ is commanding , and demanding,
Lovest thou me ?.... Lovest thou me? ... Lovest thou me ? "For the Christ always cares, is always there. Patricia S. Kelson

Restoration:
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten... ( Joel 2:25 ) Years stripped bear swallowed by locust are not forever lost..
No final destruction is possible: God can restore that which the locust devours,
Soul-filled Love -laden " Truth-tempered years exterminate the locusts of our lethargy the grasshoppers of our greed the weevils of our worldliness.
Then humbly we harvest the unspoiled fruits of our God directed labors of love.

Recognition:
Dweller in wilderness ( bleak, barren, remote ) John , the son of Elizabeth, did baptize With Jordan's water Those crowds who credited his foretelling , so incredible, The imminent appearance of the prophesied Messiah.
With what wonderment and awe Did John percieve Within the face of Mary's eldest son --- The , untill recent days , carpenter of Nazareth town, Indeed , Johns own cousin ---
The inner light of the anticipated Christ !
" Suffer it to be so , " Urged the Master of the Baptist. And John, in humility and obedience, Did symbolically annoint his contemporary, The chosen one of God.
Then gental dove appeared, And thunderous voice ( heard only by the chosen ) Did signify, " My beloved Son . " Thus loyal John his secondary role performed, Fulfilling Scripture's sacred prophecy.
Sweet baptizer of a bygone age, What an example for us Here , today !
To recognize----- not in some distant one, But harder still ( Demanding total selflessness ) To know within thoses closest, Among one's own dear family, Some glimmer of the Christ.

Here is a poem... Author Unknown...
Womens Rights..
Grave on her monumental pile; She won from vice , by virtues ' smile, Her dazzling crown , her sceptred throne, Affection's wreath , a happy home;
The right to worship deep and pure, To bless the orphan , feed the poor; Last at the cross to mourn her Lord, First at the tomb to hear his word:
To fold an angel's wing below; And hover o'er the couch of woe; To nurse the Bethlehem babe so sweet, The right to sit at Jesus' feet;
To form the bud for bursting bloom, The hoary head with joy to crown; In short , the right to work and pray, " To point to heaven and lead the way."

-------- Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men -------- That the defences of peace be constructed.....
( From Apeendix A of the consitution of UNESCO )
Out Of The Land Of Bondage.. " And God said unto Moses , I AM THAT I AM..... "
And Moses " sight of unseen God Stood mirrored where he stood : his holy ground Reflecting principle ---- to clarify ( To quench his fear-fire )
I AM THAT I AM ...... "
And prophets , hearing unhearing God spoke boldly when He spoke: their eloquence reechoed Love and Truth --- to liberate ( To break the slave -dreams )
I AM THAT I AM...... " so we, now feeling unfelt God can touch authentic man, our certainty immortal liveing --- is to vivify ( To slay the death-lie )
Christopher Andreae 1 Corinthians 15:53
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal( must ) put on immortality.
54: And when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will occur the Word that has been written , " Death was swallowed up in victory, " ( Isa 25:8 )

1 John 18.. Little children , it is a last hour , and as you heard that the antichrist is comeing , even now many antichrists have come , from which you know that it is a last hour....
A beautifull poem from one that suffered so much..
If Hitler was not an antichrist type... it would be very surpriseing to me....
Psalms 34:14: Depart from evil and do good ; Seek peace and pursue it........
The Poem..........
On a purple , sun shot evening .. Under the wide- flowering chestnut trees... Upon the threshold full of dust..
Yesterday , today , the days are all like theses, Trees flower forth in beauty, Lovely too their very wood all gnarled and old..
That I am half afraid to peer Into their crowns of green and gold.. The sun has made a veil of gold...
So lovely that my body aches... Above , the heavens shriek with blue Convinced I've smiled by some mistake.
The world abloom and seems to smile, I want to fly but where , how high ? If in barbed wire, things can bloom.. Why couldn't I ? I will not die !

Isaiah 59:1... Behold , the hand of Jehovah is not shortened from saving; Nor is His ear heavy from hearing....
Hebrews 12:2. Looking to the Author and Finisher of ( our ) faith, Jesus who for the joy set before Him endured ( the) cross, haveing despised the shame, and sat down at ( the ) right hand of the throne of God...
From evolution to revelation
The human mind had sought it's god By comeing toward him from below, From elemental moistened sod Or image shaped by hammer blow.
Then, prophets had to blow on myth, Seek Principle within the plan, Percieve from God the holy gift: Not man-made god , but God- made man.
Thus is God truely Known. Not sense, Nor mind-and-matter duly spliced, Nor all the wordly evidence, But in Mind's good , the ageless Christ.
Discovery unearths the fact That earth is infinite idea, God's own imperishable act, And man complete within this sphere...

The Parable of the Old Man and the Young
So Abram rose, and clave the wood, and went, And took the fire with him, and a knife. And as they sojourned both of them together. Isaac the first-born spake and said, My Father, Behold the preparations, fire and iron, But where the lamb for this burnt-offering ? Then Abram bound the youth with belt and straps, And builded parapets and trenches there, And stretched forth the knife to slay his son. When lo! an angle called him out of heaven, Saying, Lay not they hand upon the lad, Neither do anything to him, Behold, A ram, caught in a thicket by it's horns; Offer the Ram of Pride instead of him, But the old man would not do so, but slew his son, And half the seed of Europe, one by one,

The Poet Englishman Owen's take on war. On November 4, 1918 a week before the Armistance, Second Lieutenant Wilfred Owen was killed in battle nears Ors, France.
War is allways sad.. He left this poem..
At A Calvary Near the Ancre. One thing hangs where shelled roads part, In this war He too lost a limb, But His disciples hide apart; And now soldiers bear with Him.
Near Golgotha stroll many a priest , And in their faces there is pride That they were flesh-marked by the Beast By whom the gental Christ's denied.
The scribes on all the people shove And brawl allegiance to the state, But they who love the greater love, Lay down their life ; they do not hate.
------ Wilfred Owen....
War is allways like hell.. Wars are allways sad.. No matter the cause............ Can't wait till they all end....

Higher Rest.
His hand Gently leading.. Beside still waters.
I resisted------ hesitant , halting.
My set will.. disolves In the beckoning of .. green pastures---
Leading, Leading to land of goodness Going on forever..

The Following is part of a Boran Prayer from Kenya:
Good God of this earth, my Lord! You are above me, I am below you. When misfortune comes to me, As trees keep off the sun from me, May you keep off misfortune; My Lord, be my shadow!
Calling upon you, I pass the day. Calling upon you, I pass the night. When the moon rises, do not forsake me; When I rise, I do not forsake you; Let the danger pass by me.

" With every morn, my life afresh must break The crust of self gathered about me fresh That thy wind spirit may rush in and shake the darkness out of me and rend the mesh. The spider devils spin out of the flesh Eager to net the soul before it wake That is may slumberous lie and listen to the snake."
