I only have 1 composite but it looks like it has a spot of mercury under it and this 1 was replaced 7 years ago. Looked good until recently. Could have been like that and just noticed it when I got the rest out but is hard to say. Don't know yet what I am going to do about it or if it is mercury...could just be stain. It is not making me feel any worse. I am starting to feel a whole lot better so hopefully it is just stain.
Sounds like they want to rob you just for the 1 tooth to be done.
mine is pretty cheap but just going to the office makes me feel bad for a few days. He doesn't put mercury in but he is still drilling it out so that is what I think makes me feel bad... the air in the office. I would rather not deal with it now because of that. Hope you feel better.
