Hi Foggy,

There is such a thing known as the "mercury rash" and I have experienced it myself. Following a DMPS IV injection (which pulls mercury out of the tissues etc), I suffered from then on, ongoing severe rashes like I had never seen before. This would occur especially when heating up (mercury rising).

I could taste metal at the sametime and I look almost deformed from the rashes, which were very pink, hot, and welts also came up. I had them even on my ears, my face, my hands, my feet, backside, and the rest of me! If I had a hot bath, or I exercised etc, up they would come. This was further confirmation that I was full of mercury and that the DMPS had erupted the storage of it and basically pulled it into more accessible areas. My body then had no choice but to try and eliminate it, as the strain on my kidneys would have been too much. So it came up and out via the skin.

Over time, though this was absolutely horrible, I guess it was one way my body detoxed the stuff. But it was most unpleasant and it was slow. I sped it up later and made it more tolerable by finding a chelation protocol that suited me and got the mercury out much more efficiently and safer, so eventually the rashes became less and less over time.

I think there is also something called "Pink's disease" which I think is to do with the mercury also.

JK is right, the testing for mercury may not show up how much mercury is in you, but rather how much you are excreting. If you are like me and you tend to retain mercury, rather than eliminate it efficiently, you will likely show very low levels on testing. You will then not be believed by the doctor, who will interpret the test at face value, not considering retention toxicity and that your body is not pushing it out and they'll send you on your way saying "you do not have mercury poisoning". Because they simply do not understand how to interpret testing. Some of them are fully aware of this and understand it well. one of the top doctors in New Zealand who has dealt with mercury for many years fully understands this and says the sickest patients are often the ones showing the lowest levels. Simply because even in healthy people, there is a level of mercury because all of us are exposed to it one way or another. But healthy people eliminate it better.

Sick people retain it and it does not come out as well, and doesn't tend to show a level on testing, or at least an accurate level to show how poisoned they really are. It maybe also that if you do really have LOW levels, that you might be a person that is reactive to even small amounts of mercury and cannot handle it as well as others. I had very low levels, yet I had a LOAD of the stuff locked into my tissues/organs and the eruption of it following an DMPS IV was tremendous. It was like an ongoing flood after that had erupted the stored mercury out.

My body could still not eliminate it properly, so I was in a lot of distress and was very poisoned daily because of this.

Please stop eating fish. Some people with mercury refuse to stop eating fish and will say that they are consuming low mercury fish. The problem is, even low mercury fish can build up in someone who cannot even eliminate the mercury already in them and it can also hinder excretion of mercury. If you really want to get the benefits, then get hold of a fish oil supplement that is certified mercury free and has been tested. It is not worth the risk of continuing to eat fish. One doctor I heard of in US, said she will say to her patients 'NO FISH' and if they say "yes but it's healthy, I'll just eat low mercury fish" she just says "read my lips, no fish". She is strict on this because she knows what happens when just enough mercury continues to come into the system in people who cannot detox it properly.

You would be wise also to look up candida symptoms. Candida (overgrowth of yeast in the body) occurs in most people suffering from mercury poisoning and can contribute to many of the symptoms and misery of mercury. I can only echoe what JK has said here. Many people go on a candida diet and find many symptoms improve. It can be a life saver. I had to rid my diet COMPLETELY of sugar, wheat/gluten (grain/bread with wheat and/or gluten), yeast etc. And at first I had an eruption of detox symptoms, but the improvement at the end of it was worth everything. I was then able to handle the mercury better and detox better, because my immunity, gut and liver were much improved.

One dentist I know of who treats mercury toxic people, refuses to remove their amalgams, unless they are on a candida diet and have been for weeks beforehand, or he says if they are overburdened by mercury AND candida toxins, they will find the removal even more traumatic. So he insists on this, plus helpful supplements. If they refuse to do it, he sends them away.

The reason many find the diet hard is because they have candida overgrowth and the candida craves the very things it needs to survive (sugar and high carbs etc). WHen you eliminate those things, the candida becomes desperate and you wind up craving. This is the intitial battle and will power is usually required because it can really test you. But over time, the cravings will lessen and may even cease altogether, once candida is under control. It can take a few weeks.

Please look into this as a possible part of your symptoms, because it can really make a big difference to some people and it did to me. It will also help your body detox mercury better! Apart from the diet, supplements, you will later want to get on a proper chelation protocol to get the mercury out of your tissues and organs.
