In large doses I imagine it would be. The trees make their vile potion to keep competing plants and bugs away.

One time I ate big chunks of the green hull twice in one day, gave me a nice case of stomach cramps, which did subside after an hour or so. and then of course I saw my first parasites ever, egads. probably I ate a full 2 teaspoons worth.

You can do that once or twice in a short timespan I suppose but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

usually about 1/2 teaspoon's worth of green hull is sufficient for a day or two. and I never did it for more than 6-7 weeks in a row.

I think, my op, just guessing really from experience with it, if you do not do too much at one time or for consective days/weeks it's not that toxic to you but really gets to the bugs. If you do too much for too long, yeah, it just might do to you what it was originally intended for.

Moderation.

I suppose that would also depend on the strength of the stuff you are using.

for something that is toxic (to other plants especially) it sure does make me feel good. Wormwood I know is effective but really does not agree with me, I get foggy headed from wormwood and headaches.
