Yeah, which is why I steer clear of milk and eat acidophilus yoghurt instead. I am also ok on butter. But if I ever have any milk, I get a relapse.

I don't know that garlic, cinnamon etc would kill of good bacteria, I have never experienced that with either of them. i did very well at one stage, and that would not have been possible if they killed good bacteria, because I had a course of antibiotics (that kill both good and bad) and I was devastated by it. I still haven't really recovered from it either. Yet garlic and cinnamon never created any such responses.

Rather I have heard that garlic promotes the growth of good bacteria. I could be wrong, but certainly it never did my inner good bacteria any harm, or my reactions would have been similar to antibiotics I am sure. I cannot handle garlic supplements these days as I have some other condition that seems to be quite dangerous to me when I'm taking something so potent. I think it maybe shunting whatever toxins are there into my gut area, as I wind up in a heck of a lot of pain. Something is wrong with the gut, and I'm not sure if it's viral related, or jawbone cavitation related. Something went wrong around the sametime as I developed the infection. That's when garlic supplementation became risky for me.

Before that, with candida and/or amalgams, garlic was really good. However, when I was going through teh dumping stage of mercury following post amalgam removal, garlic was too powerful and would mobilise the mercury too much. But it was still great stuff.

So I don't think you may need to worry too much about the inner good bacteria, as I honestly do not think they are affected. I used to have cinnamon daily in my tea and did very well with it.
