Yeah, it's astounding to me that you are even functional after having 25 amalgams, but i have heard similar. They were drill happy obviously and I recall that they once drilled teeth even when they didn't need to be drilled.
Raw garlic is good, but I don't react to it well, so I stopped using it. I react horrifically to garlic supplements, even moreso than the food. I figure it may have something to do with internal infection/bacteria reacting with the sulfur or something. Not sure exactly. But i used to do very well on it once before the infections. It's not die off either, but something else that reacts badly to it. I can tell it's just not ok for me.
However, on an excellent candida forum i was on, garlic was one food that the lady recommended to consume as a natural antifungal and possibly one of the best. The only other ones she mentioned was oregano oil. But she didnt' recommend much else. she said the only way to really deal with candida is building the immunity with the diet and natural antifungals like coconut oil, oregano oil and garlic and particular supplements which she felt were the only ones necessary. They were - vitamin C, vitamin E, magnesium/calcium (equal ratios), B complex (equal mg) which you can also get by eating beef liver or taking beef liver supplements etc and cod liver oil for vitamin A and D. I would HAVE to add selenium and zinc to this, as i feel they are highly necessary for mercury toxic victims as well.
she believes her diet alone, with the fats is enough to naturally chelate mercury and heal from this condition. I feel that she maybe taking that too far, but I do believe it helps. She believes butter is a natural chelating agent, as does Hal Huggins. i personally feel that its just a healing fat and maybe more protective.
MSM is very healthy, it's sulfur. Sulfur is usually depleted in mercury poisoning. anytime you supplement something mercury interferes with, you usually get symptoms because it then displaces and mobilises the mercury by competing for binding sites. HOWEVER, be careful with sulfur, you can overdo it and it can mobilise too much mercury in one go and you may find yourself getting too many symptoms. I would go easy personally. if you feel it's too much, drop it, or lessen it. you get enough sulfur from foods like eggs and vegetables like garlic, broccoli, leek, onions etc. MSM maybe a bit too potent. See how you go and monitor your symptoms, that's the only real way of doing it.
You may want to give things a break for now though and wait till things settle before trying MSM, or you may not know what is causing what at the moment.
Just a thought.
