How can one find inner peace and a purpose in life ?

" Even when a person has an abundance ," Jesus said,
" his life does not result from the things he possess.."
{ Luke 12:15 }

For the love of money is a root of all sorts and injurious things,
and by reaching out for this love some .....
have stabbed themselves all over with many pains. "
{ 1 Timothy 6:9, 10 }

Where does one find meaning and purpose in life ?
For David.. as he said in Psalm 119:105..

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path..
106: I have sworn and I rise to it, to keep Your righteous
judgements..
107: I am afflicted very much, O Jehovah, give me life
by Your word..
108 : Please, O Jehovah , accept the free offering of my mouth
and teach me Your judgements..
109: My life is in my hand continually yet I do not forget your law.
110: The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet I do not wander
from Your precepts..
111: I have inherited Your testimonies forever; for they are the
rejoicing of my heart allways to do Your statues to the end..
