Speaking of listening... ((((( Smiles )))))

One of the best inventions for communication in lew of the internet...
Yet one of the worst when it comes to telemarketers and one way conversations...
I woke up this morning to the most pleasant recorded phone call ever..
Don't you just hate that.. To pick up the phone and hear a voice say...
Attention senior, do you need burial services...
And my answer was.. Don't call me that! and hung up the phone...
Your like the people that keep phoneing me over and over for expired car insurance..
Do you ever check your records or who are you anyway???
No I will not be takening any loud noisy carribean crusies anytime soon Thank You...
and I will not be sailing through pirate infested seas either..
I'm not the adventurist type and I do not want to go on crusies I don't want to take..
go to places I really don't want to see or come down with the norwalk virus or get
seasick either.. I feel like I'm haveing my brain warped into little pieces by theses people
with their phoned in surveys, announcements, and offers of things I couldn't possibly use
or want at this time in my life.. are they trying to get inside the mind of the consumer..
with every type of product you possibly do not want or intend to use at this time..
Do they go out of their way just to do that???
Like drug commercials on T.V.. is there no end to it???
Just for the joy of annoying you as they know what you may POSSIBLY need...
But of course they don't want to offer THAT to you ..
Thats just to easy for them to do....
It's amazing how I can find the products I need on my own...
Do I do more research then they do????
If they new what I really wanted it would have to do with getting rid of gophers...
As there destructive little creatures in your lawn for sure....
but it's funny they never phone me about that..
Or anything I really need or want most of the time..
becauses products like that I usually have to FIND on my own..
What good is that???
If they new anything about what I really wanted...
Instead of a loud vacation and crusie I don't want to take anyway...
They would phone me with information on the worlds most quiet'est dental drill..
Not one that doesn't make any noise of course...
Though that would be nice too...
But the one with the lowest decible levels around town...
But do they phone me with that information.. No... Never...
Because thats information I could possible use and there just not going to do that..
Thats just to easy for them to do....
I'll just have to look for it myself like usual....
Or take my chances with it....
Because I use to like the drill or at least never thought about it much before..
T and H....
and had no problems with it then..
But I have theses torn feelings about it now...
Should I be concerned ???
Do I need talk therapy or what.....
Or just the lowest decibles of a drill to be found....
I mean that could work even better then the latter for me..
Weither it comes to freudian concepts..
or phone calls in the middle of the night.....
Ones that you don't want......
This thread is about venting......
And pet peeves of the day.....
Besides toxins, pollution and a messed up world...
Noise pollution is one of them....
Noise pollution in this world is very real .......
And out there too.... got to love thoses loud boom box's...
What is it going to take in this world besides hearing loss, tinnitus or hyperacusis..
Before people complain about that....
With... no more noisey products please !
The world is just too loud theses days.....
Quiet is more relaxing and better.....
