What does this herb do? I did a Google search read a few websites, and got even more confused. Should it be used with ALA? What is its effect? Should I be chelating with ALA for at least a few months before adding it? I was taking MSM, however it was either MSM or raw garlic that was making my chelation symptoms worse. Was the worsened symptoms due to accelerated murcury removal, accelerated candida dye off(I am still taking olive leaf extract) or something else.
Is ALA an anticoagulant? I know that vitamin c and olive leaf extract are, and I am taking 2 grams of vitamin c a day, and 2 olive leaf extract capsules a day.Today I had a very mild nosebleed and took some vitamin K supplements which helped stop it.Perhaps some of the other supplements I am taking also have anticoagulant properties?

MT is a liver helper by stimulating Phase 1 enzymes. Milk thistle assists the glutathione-S-transferase (GST), a Phase II enzyme that adds a glutathione group to Phase I products, activity by increasing glutathione production up to 35%, but it does not directly stimulate the enzyme. Silymarin also causes liver regeneration, but milk thistle is dangerous for one with impaired sulfation (PST) for it also enhances cytochrome p450 (Phase I) activity. The glutathione it supplies is best supplied by other herbs and foods.

If milk thistle and methlycobalamin both gave me insomnia (when taken separate or together), would that mean I am an overmethylator or what?
I can handle turmeric with no problems, even in large amounts, which supposedly does something similar to milk thistle so I don't really know what to think.
