HI EVERYONE, THIS IS BILL AGAIN, I AM ASKING FOR ANY HELP AT THIS POINT BECAUSE I THINK I MAY HAVE REALLY SCREWED UP BY TAKING THE HEAVY METAL DETOX AS QUICK AS I DID. I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ANDY'S BOOK BUT I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I SPENT ALL I HAD TO HAVE THE FILLINGS REMOVED AND I JUST WANT TO GET BETTER BUT I THINK I MAY HAVE MADE MYSELF WORSE. I ALREADY DISCRIBED MY SYMPTOMS IN EARLIER POSTS BUT I WILL RECOUNT THEM AGAIN FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS. VERY DIZZY AND FEEL OFF BALANCE, MUSCLE SPASMS AND WEAKNESS, FATIGUE, PULSATION FEELINGS WHILE NOT MOVING JUST STANDING STILL, HOT OR BURNING FEELINGS MAINLY ON MY NECK AND SHOLDER AREA BUT FEEL THEM ALL OVER AT TIMES, I ALSO HAVE PANIC OR ANXIETY VERY, VERY OFTEN, TROUBLE CONCENTRATING AND THINKING ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT THE WAY I FEEL. I ALSO AM HAVING HOT FLASHES LIKE I AM RUNNING A FEVER BUT AM NOT. I AM SORRY I KEEP POSTING OVER AND OVER AGAIN BUT THIS FORUM DOES GIVE ME HOPE. I JUST HOPE I DID NOT SCREW UP TO BADLY THAT THESE SYMPTOMS WON'T GO AWAY. THANKS EVERYONE! BILL

Hi Bill. Sorry for your continued problems.
Anxiety itself can cause some of the symptoms like dizzy, pulsation, pins and needles. When I get a panic attack I feel very faint, get tingles, my heart beats and I can't think.
As hard as it is, try to calm yourself down. Cut out coffee and fizzy drinks and sugar and take water instead. Get some fresh air and regular exercise as sitting in one position can cause spasms and cramps and pains.
If you're still taking all the high vitamin doses, I would stop and see if it makes a different.
I am not a doctor and don't know any where near as much about any of this as others here, but thought I'd put my tuppence worth in!
Try and do something you enjoy. Thinking about a health problem can just make us focus on it so much that it seems worse - like how things seem worse in the middle of night when it's quiet and we have time to think about things.
Let us know how it goes.

Bill hang in there!! Russ and Laura are still out til they get back from those meetings. They are super in responding so they will be definitely getting back to you! In the meantime, see below: As you probably realize-- these symptoms are from mercury being dislodged to other areas of your body from the metal detox. While you continue to take Algin- start taking DMSA every 4 hours. You may have to set your alarm clock--even in the middle o fthe night to faithfully take a capsule- then go back to sleep again. It From what I understand DMSO isnt as safe as DMSA. Dont take the Alpha Lipoic Acid yet-- as Stephen wisely posted in the previous post. First-- a book that outlines Andy Cutler's guidelines- though not in as much detail but cheaper is: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0967616808/qid=1013667085/sr=1http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/WHERE TO BUY DMSA WITHOUT A PERSCRIPTION: http://www.nbnus.com/store/index.php?cPath=39http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_buy_DMSA.html#DMSA(SEE TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF THAT PAGE) DRINK AT LEAST 8-10 GLASSES OF WATER DAILY- SEE WHY FOR MERCURY DETOX (QUOTED FROM A YAHOO NEWSGROUP): " With any detox treatment the mercury and other toxins come out in the urine and bowel movements, so force yourself to drink all the water you can. Sodas, coffee, tea and beer do not count. Drink water without chlorine to flush out the toxins. If you don't drink enough water you are wasting your time because the mercury will move around and end up deposited in your kidneys." Hang in there! Blessings Boldyloxx

Hi Bill, I have been exactly where you are at now. It will get better even though it feels like it will last forever. I still get symptoms myself and I freak out at the thought of having them, but they are not nearly as bad as they were some 3 months ago let's say. They will subside but it takes time. A lot of time unfortunately. Like Russ will tell you this is a game of endurance. You must hang in there and tell yourself you will get through it. I think the detox you did was too much and too soon. I would just take Algin at this point and vitamin C and selenium/vitamin E and try to eat healthy foods and drink herbal teas. I don't want to tell you what to do and this being a natural forum, however I have taken sedatives because the anxiety was so bad and I had visions of dying and the feelings were so intense that I thought I was going mad. I had dreams/visions that mercury is taking my body and it is eating me alive. It can really mess with your brain and this is where all the functions start from. My sleep was completely ruined and there are still times now where I start feeling weird out of nowhere and start crying. The emotions are so hard to control and I don't think that anyone who has not been mercury poisoned can understand what hell we are going through. I think a lot of your mercury has been redistributed hence you feel sick now and have all the symptoms. Too much mercury in your blood. Again, Algin is the only thing I can personally recommend to help you get through this. I think it's better to do a slow detox even if it takes longer than to play with many supplements at once. For me plain Algin and vitamins have been the only protocol and I am getting better. If you feel it will help you can now read my mercury story at www.mercurytalk.comHang in there and keep posting on the forum. This has greatly helped me as well. All the best, Nina

Dude
following is a copy what I wrote in your other post:
Bill, OK, its good that you've stopped that stuff for now. What I forgot to say last time is: the fact that you are experiencing these symptoms more strongly now when taking a product which contains ALA -so soon after amalgam removal - is a BIG indicator that your problems are caused by mercury. I'd guess mercury in your central nervous system (motor neurons etc...) Thats my opinion from what I know about mercury and the biochemistry of the supplements used to chelate it. I haven't seen your medical results or diagnostics so I'm sorry I can not give you that 1000% guarantee that you'd like. The following my be of interest - there was a similar chap on the Cutler-Yahoo-Chelation-Forum (which I used to look at) He 'overdosed' BIG TIME on Cilantro the night his amalgams were removed (over 1 kilo of the stuff in the blender and then as a smoothie). His symptoms were worse but similar to yours - and he needed several months to get back to where he had started.
WHAT IS GOOD TO DO NOW: -Don't touch any chelating products until at least 3 months post removal -Ask Russ and Laura what you can take now to lessen your symptoms (perhaps you have already done this.) Listen to what they say, they no their stuff. -Take Algin every day, at least 3 times a day so that your body has a constant means of eliminating small amounts of the peripheral mercury all the time. Really important. -Be patient. 3-4 months and your peripheral mercury levels should be lower than the levels in your central nervous system. THATS THE PREREQUISITE FOR TAKING CHELATING AGENTS . You could probably then give chelation another go, slowly.

Bill, I recently experienced some of the same problems after doing a whole day of very strenuous yard work. The first thing I'd recommend is start drinking water with as much fresh-squeezed lemon juice in it as you can handle. You need to help your colon and kidneys flush the mercury out. The last think you want is be constipated and allow the mercury to be reabsorbed from the colon. You want to keep your bowels moving. Of course, mercury contributes to constipation, so drink plenty of water and if you have Algin, take lots of it. I was taking 6 capsules 4 times a day for the first day or two. The lemon juice in the water will also help the liver and it will provide you with much-needed vitamin C. You want to take lots of vitamin C right now...even up to bowel tolerance, at which point you can back off a little. I have taken 2,000mg every hour or two and it really helps. Vitamin C is fantastic for helping decrease mercury symptoms. In fact, when I'm doing yard work, I take 4-6 Algin capsules beforehand and I also drink a natural electrolyte replacement drink called Recovery that helps prevent me from getting dehydrated or from getting lactic acid build-up. It doesn't have any artificial colors or NutraSweet in it like Gatorade and many of the other sports drinks, plus it has vitamin C in it. From the sounds of it, all that's happended is you've mobilized more mercury than your body can eliminate, and you've probably reabsorbed some of it into the brain. Just try to relax and understand that these reactions will eventually subside, as long as you help your body as much as possible. Remember, according to Hal Huggins research, about 80% of individuals appear to automatically begin to expel mercury once they have all their amalgams removed. They don't even need to take anything at first...the body just begins dumping mercury into their bloodstream for removal by the kidneys and colons, as seen by their urine mercury levels skyrocketing. You may be one of the 80% that is automatically detoxing, and then you're pulling even more mercury out with this detox product. Right now, you need to stack everything in your favor. Drink lots of water, take lots of vitamin C, also vitamin E, lots of Algin, don't eat any sulphur foods (eggs, garlic, onions, etc.) that might exacerbate your symptoms. Protein will help...I drink a whey protein drink mix, Nutri-Burn. Just make sure the protein drink doesn't have NutraSweet (aspartame) in it, which many of them do. If you can eat hormone-free, antibiotic-free chicken, beef or turkey, or organic beans, these would be good protein sources also. I'd also recommend extra magnesium for the burning feelings in your neck and shoulders, which may be muscle tension or a buildup of lactic acid. The hot flashes/fevers happened to me too. These will pass. A fever is usually caused by your immune system doing it's job to fight off an infection. Mercury lowers your immune system making you more susceptible to illness. If your body temperature is going up and down, more like "hot flashes", it could also be related to thyroid function, will is supposed to regulate your body temperature. Mercury interferes with thyroid function. For me, it took probably 3-4 days to get back to "normal." In your situation, it may take longer. PLEASE...don't take any more chelators for a while. You also need to take much more than 2 Algin. As I said, my "maintenance" dosage is 3-4 at least once or twice a day, and I'm not taking any chelators or detox products right now with all the yard work I'm doing. If I were to take anything like what you were taking, I would absolutely be taking a lot more Algin. Also, please take more vitamin C...you're body can handle it and will definitely appreciate it. If you get to the point of bowel tolerance (loose stools), then back off 500mg to 1,000mg and stay at the daily amount for a while. You don't have to worry about overdosing. (When I did DMPS injections after my removal, I was given 50 grams or 50,000mgs by IV.) If money is an issue, then try to eat as many vitamin C-rich foods as possible...organic is best if you can find and afford it: oranges, grapefruit, strawberries, kiwi, raw broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, etc. Do a google search and you'll find all kinds of foods high in vitamin C and other important antioxidants. Let us know how you're doing!
