I got all of the amalgam taken out of my mouth on the left upper and lower (still have the right side to go). My jaw and gums were really sore afterwards and through the weekend. I had my mouth open so long, and I have a bad case of TMJ, so I just figured that it has been acting up since.
Mercury can make your mouth feel quite sore, you probably got some in your gums in the removal process. Dentists tried to diagnosis me with TMJ (which I never had before) after my dental nightmare,. Chelating (DMPS in particular) make the jaw pain go away. And removing some big amalgam filled molars cleared up my neck aches too. Rinsing your mouth with powdered chlorella helps whole bunches if you aren't going the chelation route with something as major as DMPS IV. Let the chlorella sit onyour teeth and gums a few minutes, the rinse and spit, don;t swallow it. You might want to do that a couple times a day for a week or so. Gargle with it to help your throat.
and I was wondering... why aren't calcium and zinc on this list - (
I am currently taking Algin, 2000 mg Vitamin C, Milk Thistle, and Magnesium.) ? It's really helpful to supplement with all 3 - magnesium, calcium and zinc, not just magnesium - to help replace minerals as your body cleans itself of toxins like mercury (and lead and cadmium etc).
Hang in there, not much a doc will do for you anyway except empty your wallet and blah blah you.
Not sure I would proceed with a parasite cleanse while trying to remove mercury that is causing painful symptoms. some of the parasites actually help lessen your symptoms, you might want to ease up on the humaworm for a a bit and get back to it in a couple weeks. The idea of parasite dieoff in combo with amalgam removal that caused painful jaw doesn't thrill me.
My jaw and throat were extremely sore too prior to being sent to my knees with mercury poisoning btw.
Colon cleansing helps a lot (#1 on my list for major symptoms) and it would be helpful to chelate. You might want to double or triple your algin dose for the next couple weeks if you don't have anything else for that on hand. And make sure you are taking some cod liver oil everyday. And those vitamins, selenium included. Make sure your body has all the basic good nutrients it needs and things should clear up faster.
I really don't think it's thyroid, simply because it sounds exactly like my experience after a dental visit where they did a very bad job of removing some amalgam. and i don't seem to have any thyroid issues. Iodine will help your body maintain warmth. Kelp is a good source of that and will work real well with algin. Potassium iodide is also good. iherb.com sells both online. Russ probably sells both here too, not sure.
The bentonite clay enemas are superb btw, for both mercury and parasites. You could do that for a couple weeks instead of the humaworm and still stay on track with your parasite cleanse in a round about way and minimize or even eliminate die-off symptoms too. Just get those toxins out as quickly and efficiently as possible is the main idea. The bentonite would probably also be very effective with your lyme diesease, kills and clears so much stuff so why not try it for that too. I admit the (high) enemas are a pain, pun very much intended there.. but they seem to be essential for total recovery.
Day 7 or so of humaworm parasite cleanse here.. the only symptom has been slightly swollen glands (dieoff I guess). No itching, no critters in the bm's so far though I am sure I had a few in my stomach... but of course I have been doing the enemas every 5-6-7 days or so so they may have gotten flushed away already and I couldn't see anything because of the foggy clay water. I am also taking some colon cleanse herbs, not humaworm though, too expensive and too much psyllium for me, got mine for $14 at the health food store. They work great, Super Cleanse the name I think, yellow box. Just taking those a few days a week.
I have been doing lots of cleansing the past year, starting to really feel reliably on track, work is actually going quite well too.
I am going to finish this parasite cleanse with a liver flush too, my 6th. Everything I have done, with the exception of the IV chelation, has been done at a minimum of cost. The original dental work ($$$!X?@!) and then the IV's cost me quite a bundle and left me broke for a bit... the clay enemas (#1) and liver flushes (#2) really do top my list for the best things you can do for yourself without going into debt. And vitamins, cod liver oil (and vco) included. Milk thistle is great, I bought some seeds the nieghbors are going to love that...
