Hi Mommy24, I'm very sorry to hear this <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. mercury poisoning is horrible, not just directly but indirectly in what it can stuff up inside the human body. Removing it is also very stressful. You are exposed to even more of the stuff during replacement, which can then make you feel even worse later on. Sometimes it can be a delayed reaction. Thyroid is a big one for mercury too and mercury can block the action of iodine, which is crucial for thyroid and many other functions in the body. Mercury depletes, displaces, blocks many essential elements that are required for proper functioning of these glands and other areas of the body and brain. It can cause underactive or overactive, or underweight or overweight. Excessive appetite, or loss of appetite. There really isn't much it cannot interfere with. Overgrowth of yeast can do much the same. So there is not always a way of knowing what is responsible, but mercury is so often at the bottom of it all. This has all pretty much been spoken about recently on this forum (thyroid), you may have seen them? I'll re-post them here. One should really treat both adrenals and thyroid. If possible, by natural means, diet and supplements. I won't repeat the same information, because there is too much of it, so hope you don't mind me posting the links to those posts. They are related to the thyroid and adrenals and will hopefully help you if that is what the problems are caused by. http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/sh...&sb=5&o=&fpart=1http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/sh...&sb=5&o=&fpart=1http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/sh...&sb=5&o=&fpart=1Diet is very important, and proteins and fats are very healing and can help these glands too. If you have trouble with swallowing supplements, you may need to get hold of powdered and liquid supplements instead. Powdered vitamin C, powdered multi vitamin/mineral, liquid milk thistle, liquid selenium, etc. You need vitamin E, selenium, magnesium, calcium, iodine, zinc etc, all those things for the thyroid, as well as B vitamins. This is also good for adrenals as well. You don't want to overdo iodine, but you DEFINITELY do not want to underdo it either. The information on those links will give more explanation than I am giving here.
