From about february I've noticed my leg strenght deteriorating.
Especially my knees &lower legs.I guess my arms feel quite weak at times too butI don't notice as much because they are not holding me up.
I have been supplementing magnesium but no calcium/phosphorus but take plenty of these through foods.
whether my body is getting the best from the foods is another question, I have also noticed my finger nails look very white 2 thirds of way up to the tip...
It has been warm & sunny here and I have been sitting out in it as much as possible, and seem to be able to tolerate intense sunlight like never in my life before. It feels like my body has been completely starved of something.
I am certain this is a mineral imbalance/deficiency but don't know which.
I guess it's probly not enough vit D and calcium but not sure,it's such a guessing game and balancing act but my legs get very weak and feel they might give way or snap sometimes, but never do.
We have hens so for the last 2 days I've been drying their egg shells and crushing them to powder which I've been told is a good way to get calcium into the body.
My last hair tests showed good calcium levels but I know with mercury this does not nessessary mean what it says.
I may have overdone the magnesium supps.
I do not think the weakness is from muscle loss as I've been doinglittle & often,it feels like a bone/joint problem, not painful ,just weak
any suggestions would be very welcome?
Thanks

Sunflower, the only thing that ever helped my legs feel better (quick enough) when they would feel weak like that was colon cleansing (while chelating also). the knee pain, mercury is famous for that, behind the knee. If you are feeling that, it's definitely a symptom of mercury poisoning.

Bujt anyway, colon cleansing. It's the toxins accumulating in your intestines and colon as your body tries very very hard to get rid of them and fails a lot of time, so they often settle downward (HEAVY metals), moving into your hips, legs and feet.

the herbals colon cleanses are helpful, I think the enemas or hydrotherapy are better and much quicker and efficient for cleansing the coln of heavy metals.

Enema bags are not expensive, I think I already gave you the link to the tuberose page with the high enema directions. it's a real pain to have do it but it really works well, dependably. It will take about 2-3 weeks to feel better if you get started now and do it 2-3 times a week at first. I mean to feel much much better btw, you will feel a lot better after just a couple days if you start.

Did you put any cilantro in your garden?

I feel the same thing in my legs. Like they are about to snap at any moment, especially when I have to walk downstairs or uphill. I am currently doing colon cleansing with bentonite, starting to feel a bit of relief, but only on my first week now.
In my case right now it's the damage from all the parasite toxins that I have to deal with.

Sosick, I am curious about hydrotherapy. Have you tried it? Is this something a weak person can handle when I am feeling so sick and malnurished? Is it hard on the body to do, or would I just feel better from it? I am considering doing it after I finish my parasite cleanse to get all the crap out of my intenstines.

I agree with everything Sos said. 100pct spot on. A fine post.

I don’t get leg weakness, but I get my weakness in my lower back and it is a mercury thing. It can also be a kidney thing, and a liver thing, but defo muscle weakness is big mercury problem too. when I get a mercury attack, after a problem, my lower back always goes weak. It has been a constant long term problem. I concur with what Sos said and her solution.

Nina: hydrotherapy. That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Go for it. It will really help. I have found bowel cleansing the most horrid to contemplate but the fastest and the most consistent benefits to my health! Bowel cleaning should be at the top of all out “get-well-quick” lists

Nina... Hydrotherapy, professional colonics... YES!!! They are marvelous!!! If you are sick, no problem it's a piece of cake, very gentle and I don't know of anything that is better for you overall, such quick relief. Sunshine can probably verify that. They do a real good deep cleanse-rinse.

The hardest part is dragging yourself in the first time, the idea of it all, that you must get over or you won't get better.

I have been doing high enemas of late, to save the time of driving into town and of course the money, not like I can afford to fill up the gas tank anymore... the high enemas are almost just as good as a professional colonic once you get the hang of it. And of course you can add the bentonite or chlorella to them.

If that is what you are already doing just stick with it and try to do it 2-3 times are week if you are sick. When you are less sick you can taper off. I really feel the need to clear out down there once a week at minimum, I'm spoiled by feeling good I guess and I know that that is one of the essentials for me by now. I really should do it twice a week but time and all, hard to get to as much as I'd like. The directions for the high enema are at http://www.tuberose.com, click on the colon cleanse page.

hmmm... they changed their website... well I have posted links to that page in a number of threads, search around their site, or else I know we've got it linked in the health for pets forum too.

here is the page exactly from the other thread:

you might want to save that to your computer just in case.

Nina said: what about hydrocolonics? Good idea or bad idea for someone in my state? I was thinking of that as an option after I finish the parasite cleanse...

100pct a wonderful idea. This is the best option and a great thing to do. I recommend it. I echo Sos’s words completely…..

Sunshine says: It’s a real headf..K! I left this little project until I had tried all else, because the thought of it is …..is just unpleasant. I wish I had done some earlier, would have dramatically speeded my recovery….but hey…I got around to it in the end. For bowel cleansing herbs and colonic are the top two methods for cleansing. Separately or together, the more the merrier. With professional colonics you clean out loads and loads.

I think you should do one whilst you are doing your current parasite cleanse, it will help.

The first step, the first time…you just have the pluck up the courage, pick up the phone, close your eyes, grit your teeth…and book it. The people that do them, they know it’s mentally disagreeable…they make it easy and normal as possible. Once you done one, the next is easy because it doesn’t hurt and you get better.

The lady I see…..god….she is real posh, real upper class middle aged lady….she wears a pearl earrings and a pearl necklace…..its a bit surreal.

Courage quotes:

You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.

You don't develop courage by being happy in your relationships everyday. You develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity.

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Your options are limited only by your fears.

You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind.

Have you been taking enough potassium? This will cause leg weakness. I can’t remember why but potassium is used up at an increased rate if you have Hg poisoning, maybe someone can remember why. You might want to try this first before any of these colonics etc as you might make a bad situation worse. Even eating a few bananas will make a noticeable difference if you are low.

at some point you will finally do the enemas or hydrotherapy... and slap yourself silly for waiting so long. Like the rest of us have. It's real easy and helps you heal a lot quicker.

any basil in the garden?

Hey There
Sorry to hear about the weakness in your legs. I also have that problem and yes feeling like they are going to snap and burning pain too! Up hill and down hill is the worst. I was also scared of the colon cleansing and colonics especially since I had all the ulcers but....I finally got the courage and yes yes yes big help. Not as bad now, am fixing to start next colon cleanse this Monday. I did the whole enema thing too...not what I wanted to do but was a big help and I will not go backward now after the relief I have experienced. Its awful to think about and yeah yuk to do but well worth the efforts.
Potassium, I had high blood pressure that was off the charts...stroke stage and very scary but I never supplemented pottasium instead I did all the therapies and ate a lot of potatoes(high in pottassium) and added sea salt. I could not eat bananas they would cause stomach pain every time. My blood pressure is a whole lot better but that did not help my legs. When I did the first colan cleanse I got some relief and a little more on second cleanse. I also did liver/gall bladder flush with the second colon cleanse and that was my biggest relief of all...along with the high enemas. I was so chicken to do the high enemas I called around first for colonics but no clinic here doing that so God gave me the courage and well best thing I could have ever done for myself. Hope this helps make it a little easier for ya and I should have done this a year ago. Oh well better late than never!!! Hang in there it does get a little better but definately a rollercoaster ride.
Rachel

Hi Skieslimit, thanks for the encouragement!!!
I am starting off with the bowel &parasite, ordering from humaworm today. There is a clinic that do colonic irrigation
nearby but as I suffer anxiety at the thought (especially at the thought of
1.going through that with strangers! and
2.being stuck with that thing inserted for an hour or so?,so uncomfortable! makes me squirm at the thought,
then I tell myself
1.There are so many health benefits after doing this and
2.How uncomfortable life could continue to be if I don't take action...after all what is an hour of being"uncomfortable" in the great scheme of things?
3.If I dont do a clean up I may get worse leading to going through worse "things with strangers..."than a colonic!(ie.hospital treatments etc)

Potassium,
me too...bananas are funny with me...once in a blue moon I crave them and eat one but usually I can only manage a few bites,I am not sure why this is ...I think it's their texture, might be because while growing up my friend used to suck bananas in front of me...turned my stomach!!!yuck

I am eating an avocado every day, also really high in potassium, and I eat sweet potatoes a few times a week, but am careful with spuds as they are hypoglycaemic and I only eat in small portions with protein too.

It is amazing how lots of us have such similar symptoms,
I talked to the natural doc yesterday and he thinks it's a symptom of detox, and mineral imbalance,he also mentioned manganese toxicity I may have acquired through wearing tanned shoes in the rain as a child...

I am also ordering some some magnetic clay and am going to do lots of foot baths.
Will keep you posted...

they are professionals sunflower, they do this all day long, your butt won't be real exciting to anyone even if it real pretty. And if it ain't pretty, you'll hardly be the first they've seen.

it's really true, the hardest part is getting over that anxiety of doing it. Once you actually do it, drag yoruself in the first time, really as anxious as you are now you be saying, egads was i so dumb or what?... really not kidding you'll be as equally stupified as to why you procrastinated as you are anxious now.... I think everyone goes though that with this type of stuff.

it's easier than a visit to an ob-gyn that's for sure. now that I truly hate.

BUT goods news you ordered the humaworm and then when you are done with that you will be able to do the hulda clark liver cleanse because you'll have done the parasite cleanse and then hey. no kidding, then even without hydrotherapy you should feel much much better. The liver cleanse is amazing.

I was wondering if you planted basil, lots of basil, because basil pesto is really good for you too.

sorry to hear that the potted cilantro died, they don't do well in pots. If you take some cilantro seed and throw it in a mound of dirt or along the edge of the garden it'll grow quite happily just like a weed though.

Hi Sunflower,

I have recently been doing the magnetic clay baths for Mercury Detox and they have helped me a great deal. I collect parasites and candida that leaves my body in the drain after each bath. Yuck!!!
The first time I tried it, I only used 1/4 cup, because I knew I was very weak and I did feel drained after but I continued to increase amount each time and now I am up to a cup each weekly bath. My husband saw the improvement in me and he tried the Clear Out Detox bath and he has noticed he feels better after each bath as well. I have also done three detox foot baths with the Aqua Chi and each time the water has gotten significantly lighter and I feel a lot better. The first time the water was so dark it was almost black! It was quite shocking to see all those toxins coming out of me. I am still pretty toxic, but I can say I have seen some improvement. I cannot wait to start the parasite/bowel cleanse from Humaworm as I hope to feel the benefits from them!

angel baby,
I am so glad to hear it's making you feel better,I love to hear success stories
It is really encouraging, I've just ben browsing around looking for some good clay...
www.magneticclay.com
has a good range for radiation, mercury etc BUT its far too expensive for me at the moment...
The cost of the shipping is almost same as the product.
I can always save up or find another place to get it...
Where did you get your clay from?

Ok about the weakness in my legs...
Today is day 2 of my legs feeling stronger.
I have been trying to think what I did that was different or may have helped:
I have not been using the natural progesterone cream for 2 days (because it's now day 30 of my cycle and my period has not appeared yet)I usually take it from day 12 to day 28 but this month I didnt buy it on time and now i'm a few days behind...)I may have lost the boys at this point i'll go on regardless,
I have increased my seasalt intake,I take the dirty grey stuff,
I eat one avocado every day ,
I am massaging my feet daily with coconut oil and stretching my legs and wiggling my toes when I sit for any lenght of time(like at comp)
I have stopped taking my magnesium supplements for the last 3 nights and started about 4 days ago taking 1 teasponn of crushed/powdered dried eggshell from our ourganic hens...

also sitting out in the sun as much as possible

There is now a HUGE difference in the strenght of my legs.
my knees are still a bit creaky though...
one step at a time...taking things really slowly
Also I have been eating plenty of quinoa ,I'm going to write a post about this stuff because it's so wonderful

Sunflower,

I use the LL Magnetic Clay Bath clay for Mercury Detox I. They have a Mercury Detox II version also. My husband uses the Clear Out clay formula and he has claimed he feels better too. I have to agree that the clay is expensive but I buy mine on eBay and I wait until it is the cheapest I can find it and then buy it. It is still a bit pricey but I have spent almost $8,000 since late December replacing my fillings and going to Holistic Dentists and Herbal doctors. I have had no choice because I was so sick, I was desperate to do anything I could to help my health improve. The worst symptoms for me were the constant feeling that something bad was going to happen, (like I was gonna die any minute!), the panic attacks and heart palpitations. With the numbness in my extremities on top of that, I thought for sure I was dying. Mercury can play some serious tricks on your mind and from what I hear there are some places that will use clay wraps on your head to remove the toxins but I am too skeptical about how it would make me feel since it is involving your brain! I just soak my head far back as I can when I take my clay baths but I never stay in over 15 minutes so I don't get lightheaded. I would say it has been worth the price and paid off by helping to improve my overall health.

I checked out the site but did not see the prices. How much is the Mercury detox 1 and or 2 bath and how many baths can you make from one bag? Did anyone get good symptom relief from these, was it worth it?

Hi Nina,

I have ordered the 1 lb Mercury 1 kit in the past and that was good for about 3-4 baths but I was very toxic so I only used about 1/4 of a cup for each bath and even that was strong for me at the time. Now I am up to a cup per bath. I ordered the 5 lb box of the Mercury I this time. I have already taken about 4 baths and I still have plenty of clay left. I guess depending on how sensitive you are will determine how long your clay will last but the website gives you an estimate of how many baths each kit will provide. Each kit comes with PH strips (to test if you are strong enough to take the bath), a drain stopper, a screen and full set of instructions.

I have felt great relief from these baths and the clay is light gray before being put into the bath and almost black when I get out! I never stay in longer than 15-20 minutes depending on how I feel during the bath. If I feel lightheaded any , I get out and take a shower immediately after to rinse off the herbs and clay from my skin. I usually do dry brushing right before the bath too. I feel a lot better but still have a ways to go.

My husband does the Clear out bath that targets various ailments and he claims it has made an improvement in how he feels. He has had cancer twice in the past and he has found relief from these clay baths too.

Here is the link that shows each type of bath they sell and the prices. I highly recommend them.

I have tried the detox foot baths and although they have helped some, I prefer the magnetic clay baths.
