Bill,
I would stay off the detox supplement indefinitely and make sure you continue the algin when you get it in. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water each day (very important). Lack of water can create some of the symptoms you mentioned.
I have a visual model I use to explain the detox process to people.
In short, it's kind-of-like pumping waste water through a pipe. When you stop detox, it will take a little while for the "intertia" of the detox supplement to stop therefore causing detox to continue for a short while after you stop.
It's the same if you're taking algin. This is an awesome tool for preventing mercury redistribution and I believe it facilitates speedier detox. If you suddenly stop algin, the "pipe" efficiency will decrease and could start to back up with mercury and cause symptoms to return quite a bit before returning to a "normal" level. When you start the algin again, some experience a euphoric feeling because the pipe is suddenly working with super efficiency and your blood-mercury levels drop, but they will increase somewhat in a few days as the body senses the decrease in blood mercury caused by the increase in "pipe" efficiency and attempts to increase the rate of detox.
I hope this makes sense. It's just a model but it works and helps people understand the connection between their experiences and their supplements.
