I think it is quite possible to feel some relief after having just one or two removed, especially if they were cracked. Cracked amalgam=leaky amalgam=big trouble. I had been noticing muscle weakness for about a year before I had a cracked amalgam-filled tooth removed, which I tried everything for not suspecting my fillings, and the muscle weakness subsequently subsided after the tooth was removed.
Congratulations on healing your son, keep after that doctor!!! People need to know about experiences like yours, they don't get the right information from doctors. Doctors will rarely admit the truth about vaccines after they have used the vaccines especially on babies, because of the possibility of lawsuits, not only for autism but also because some children die after being vaccinated.
Be careful about what type of composite material you choose if replacing amalgams. Don't drink coffee with mercury illness, it contributes a whole lot to foggy head. You should consider chelating, there are various routes to go about that depending on how well or unwell you feel.
