Re: "Yeah I guess I'm not trying to say NDF or whatever doesn't work. Used properly it probably works fine. But with DMSA this isn't really an opinion issue... its a synthetic chemical compound of which the forumla is known. There aren't any mercury molecules in the formula. So I don't see how there is any argument."
Thank you, this is something that makes sense. I've thought long and hard as to how we could tactfully put both sides to this issue out there. It's not that one or the other doesn't work. However, one is more affordable than the other and has helped many. There are many ND's and clinics out there that use DMSA. They do not stand to gain anything financially by giving their patients this product. More importantly, it has helped many people. One on this forum remarked that it helped her when she had been reexposed to mercury. And there are those who's mercury levels have come down after using DMSA.
It's not that I care if one person or another is right. If one clinic or another is right. This is not some fun "debate" on my part. Frankly, I usually shy away from debates.
It is, though, that when I ask for some sort of proof; some sort of proof be given. Like the above link. Like the individual on another forum that wanted to put the issue to rest and used a test they had at home, at their expense, to test for mercury. (sorry I don't know the test, but if someone is interested I could research it. Please...not someone already convinced the other way, who might just like a good debate). The test showed no mercury in DMSA.
For myself, I honestly don't care what you use. If it's working, keep using it.
