Well, hang in there Bill., It sounds like your cells just dumped alot of retained mercury -which is said to happen after we get our last fillings out. Did you start chelating yet?
i would advize you to get some of that Algin asap and start chelating with chlorella and the Algin.
Other chelating aids I read are the following:
1- Activated Charcoal 2-Papaya and pineapple 3-Licorice Root 4-Butchers Broom herb 5-Pomegranite
Get magnesium, zinc, selenium, manganese and vitamin C with the Bioflavonoids to protect you at this time.
I will post more tomorrow- hang in there!
you may want to take a hot bath in Epsom Salts poured in the water. Epsom Salts adds magnesium to your body- and with mercury poisoning and mercury dump- your body needs more magnesium from what i read.
I just got my last 2 out this past Thursday- so im sure i will have a similar experience happen to me as well.
Hang in there! Boldyloxx

Bill, It's very common to have good and bad days after the removal. In fact (I have concluded), it is a sign that your body is entering a "detox" mode, where it is beginning to open up the stores of mercury in the body and mobilize them via the bloodstream for elimination. I call this the "rollar coaster" ride because it's up and down. For most people, this lasts several months and gradually levels off. In the mean time, you can work with your symptoms by attacking the one-by-one. For muscle cramps, you'll need magnesium. I use this: Magnesium Complex Low energy may be caused by thyroid issues. I occasionally take this thyroid supplement when my energy is low: Thyroid Support If you have a history of low thyroid, this may be a very good idea. If your low-energy is caused by elevated homocysteine levels, B12 and other B vitamins will help. I use this: B-Complex The B vitamins make a world of difference for me. Hang in there as the changes you're feeling are a good sign even though they feel bad. The fact that you initially felt good is evidence that the removal was the right thing to do and that you're on the road to a changed life. Please keep us posted and let us know how long the rollar coaster lasts. Many thanks.

I'm seeing a dentist at the end of the month about removal, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's the right thing to do at the moment. I'm in the last year of a college degree, so need to be able to get down to some work, and money is really tight right now.
I'm not sure what to do for the best - to just get the alginate and get rid of some mercury for the next year, or to take a chance on the removal. But I really don't want to make myself worse over the next year than I have too because I've got to get my degree.

Demi, I'd say get them out-- from what I read and what Russ says, you have your good and bad days- and it keeps actually getting better and better, til the symptoms are hardly there --then they are completely gone.
I will keep you posted on how I do too- since I just had my last two out this past Thursday- and I went to an ordinary dentist

Please, do let us know how you get on I'm sorry I haven't been contributing much lately, had a lot on my mind etc. I went to a specialist today at hospital and have been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which is thoughtby some to be caused by insulin resistance. I think it's the mercury doing it, myself, because there's on "one" test for this condition, but it's concluded from symptoms. I'm going to keep my appointment with the dentist and look at getting them out It might help this problem.

good- and while you have that condition treated- after the fillings are out, I reallly reccomend doing an internet search on alternative therapies and supplements/herbs to take to heal faster from that condition. It'l give you an edge in your immune system to fight it. while you are also detoxifying out heavy metals too.
Algin is probably the very bestest thing to buy for detoxifying before and after the filling removals as well as when you start chelating after they are all out.
Algin accompanied with the other stuff they tell you to use for chelating will probably really keep you from the symptoms some folks get so that you can also deal with your other condtion too
Also do a colon cleanse so that you have no less than 2 bowel movements a day- that will help you in mercury removal and also probably any health condition!
God bless ya! Boldy

Thanks. I'm not sure that I do have the condition, though - maybe, as diabetes is strong in my familym but in Cutler's book, it says amenorrhea can be caused by mercury toxicity, but they've concluded I have this condition. The solution they say is hormone pills 3-4 times a year, but I'm looking into diet. But I think it could well be the fillings contriuting to his because the problem got worse after I had an amalgam root filling 7 years ago.

The relationship of these "conditions" to mercury seems pretty likely.
Most great things in life take courage and involve risk. Getting my amalgams replaced was the best and most life-changing (by far) health decision I ever made. I hope you make it too. Just be sure to detox afterward.
Take care.

Mercury certainly does effect the female system. I have see this with myself and my daughter and Dr. Huggins mentions some things in his book. I would research your problem and check into natural things to support you during this time and see if eventually things get better after the mercury is removed.

You are sooo right about the epsom salt baths! I have a real problem with my magnesium levels and take 700 mg or more (in divided doses) of an ionized form and still last week became so symptomatic (cause unknown) that I took an epsom salt bath and felt like a new person. I have read that this is really a good way to detox also, as it is magnesium sulfate. A bath a week would probably do us all good.

It sure does! Im due for another one !
There is a lady where I work who is sufffering from Sciatica. I mentioned the Epsom Salts bath to her- and she tried it- and loved it! She wants to tell her doctor, but i told her better be careful about that. They'll just discourage her and say it was "all in her head" or something probably. Her daughter--- a pharmacist--- told her, "that's just an old wives' tale"
yeeeesh!!
