If this really happened, then we would expect to find evidence in the geological and biological records. What we see is that God would appear to have given the earth every appearance of old age, and that most of the species that have lived on the earth became extince before humans even existed. Do you think he's just trying to fool everybody again? And if that's the case, how can we trust anything we learn at all, if it could be false evidence planted by God?

We started discussing it in another thread, and Bex jumped in by providing what she believed to be actual evidence for her point of view. She does that sometimes. Eventually the thread petered out when people didn't like my questions about mats of vegetation, how the animals would have survived on the ark, where the floodwaters came from, why there are seashells on top of mountains, etc. I asked you several times afterward if you'd like to return to the discussion but you appeared not to be interested. Would you like to strike it up again?

Some creationists think that God created all the animals that ever existed on the earth, at the same time as Adam and Eve. Others say that in order to fit the Noah's ark scenario, there had to be a limited number of "kinds" at that time, which hyper-evolved in a few thousand years after the flood. Some even claim that all the extinct species got wiped out during the flood. There are logical and scientific problems with each of these things. Do any of these describe what you personally believe, or do you believe something different?

So what makes you so convinced? Where's your evidence that this is not the case, when the fossil record has actually been documented for over 100 years? Every fossil that's been found in situ has shown this sorting. If you've got a bona fide example of one that isn't, then I'd like to hear about it because it's a remarkable scientific discovery.

The rest of your post is asking me for evidence for evolution. Well that's what we've discussed quite a lot for months now, and RAZD presented some too. You could walk into an entire library devoted to this subject. It's a little disingenuous to ask me to list it all in a post, much less do your own research for you. Nothing is stopping you from Googling nested hierarchies or genetic evidence for evolution. However, I'm happy to narrow the focus so that we can have a good, detailed discussion about one of these things. Would you like to start with the fossil record, and your scientific reasons for denying that it is sorted? We can maybe move on later to dating methods.

If you honestly think this is all a waste of your time, then I'm not sure I understand why you are posting here in the first place.
