Thanks for that post Bg. I believe personally that everybody should do ALA chelation, even if they "think" they are well just by body chelation. I made that mistake, and what happens in the future when you get hit by something like I did (virus) and then completely plummet, only to find yourself with mercury symptoms again? Here is something else. Please excuse the personal nature of this, but I'm going to say it. I spent years with discolouration in the genital area (where it should be pink). So bad in fact, it looked like tattooing! It was a metallic dark grey. I considered it must be just "me" (some weird quirk) WRONG.

Once I had amalgams out and years of chelation, I started to feel well again and the discolouration was fading. In fact, it was almost gone and back to pink again. Well, hows this for weird. As soon as I got hit by viral infection and other issues, can someone explain to me how the discolouration manages to come back? Only worse? This by the way is one of the hallmarks of a mercury toxic person. Men can get this too in the same area. Grey discolouration in the genital area (where it should be pink). It's a bit like what people get on their gums. Pretty much the same.

Basically either the mercury still in me began to then to re-poison me, becuase I was now no longer as strong to rise above it (due to virus). Or susequent exposures from any dental office visits or simply any mercury at all environmnetaly, poisoned me easily due to lack of resistance? Whatever the reason, it's back and bad. This only happened after I got ill by the virus and other issues. I'd hazard a guess and say that I was still poisoned all that time, but was much stronger against it (so I thought), but obviously due to still having mercury, it put me in a vulnerable position to catch a virus like this and remain ill from then on.

So that tells me, I need to chelate! This is why I would warn anybody of stopping chelation too soon, or avoiding brain chelation because they feel well. I still believe there can be much more mercury leftover that you may not be aware of. Even andy says you should chelate for about a year or more AFTER you "feel" well, to avoid future problems that the still unchelated mercury be wind up causing.

I believe an other reason why you did not heal is that you still had amalgam pieces hidden under your composites....

That maybe so bg. Possible, but it is a bit weird that I had the dumping of mercury stage happened to me (which only occurs after all amalgams are gone) and odd that I was healing after years of chelation (no regressing either) and the tattoed area was becoming pink.....so not sure about that. But perhaps the tiny fragment was still enough to be a much bigger issue than I realise. Certainly I have noticed zero difference from having it completely removed. The recent dental office visits have indeed repoisoned me and I'm feeling it alot.

There are some people who genuinely maybe only body poisoned who may find that DMSA chelation may do enough or even natural methods. But I thought I was one of those too because I felt better, but in retrospect, obviously I was much more poisoned than I thought and needed to chelate organs/brain. It also tells me that dental offices are full of mercury vapor and visiting them for any reason, for some of us, can result in repoisning and long term consequences.
