I have mild histadelia. I went in to talk with a gastro about a colonoscopy and he ran several basic tests. I asked him to tack that one on, and he did. He said he wouldn't know what to do with the results, but ordered it anyway. Mine was slightly elevated, but I suspected as much. I have OCD and SAMe makes me feel better. Haven't taken that in a while though. Also not sure how all that ties into Hg poisoning. SAMe is a methyl donor, so....... is it a chelator? Not quite sure how high histamine works into Hg poisoning. Maybe someone else has some info on this. I have noticed that avoiding high histamine foods makes me feel some better with the exception of yogurt; I'm sometimes OK with it.
