Shawn, I bought a Black & Decker steamer for $30 at Bed, Bath & Beyond that I really like. It steams vegetables very well and I also cook rice, chicken and turkey in it. You can cook just about anything in it that you would normally cook in pan. You just load everything up, let it work and come back 20-45 (depending on what you are cooking) minutes later and everything is done. Very easy to clean and wash too.

What is also very good is that you aren't using any metal when cooking with this steamer. Metals like nickel, copper, etc. that are in stainless steel and other metal cookware can be very harmful as you have probably read from other sources on this forum.
