For Astrology,
Stars exist.
Astrology states that stars influence peoples lives.
The existence of stars is evidence in favor of astrology being true.
Not circular because astrology was not assumed to be true. So why did Nancy Reagan hire one (an astrologer)? Because she believed it to be true, that's her right to believe what she wants. She also believes that embryonic stem cell research should be funded by the government. I don't agree with her.
