I have to assume that Huggins must have been referring to IV B12 during amalgam removal, not routine dietary or supplemental B12.

B12 deficiency produces the same symptoms as mercury poisoning, including fatigue, depression, and poor memory. B12 deficiency can potentially cause severe and irreversible damage, especially to the brain and nervous system. B12 protects what mercury destroys - neurons, mylean sheath, etc...

We mercury-poisoned folk are told to not eat any meat - a major source of B12. Makes no sense, unless you want to devoid yourself of B12 and let the mercury in you destroy any B12 left. Want permanent neurological damage from mercury AND B12 deficiency?

I completely DISagree that we should not take B12 (IV B12 a possible exception but I do not know). I take A LOT of B12 supplements and eat dietary sources of B12 daily.

Is METHYLcobalamin bad? I take Methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin. It really helps to combat mercury symptoms for me. Folic acid is also good to take with B12. I have searched every source close to me for B12 and the only forms I have found are methyl and cyano. I'd rather risk the methyl form and forgo the cyanide form.
