I agree .
Though I don't belong to any organized relgion-- but am just a Christian(by God's grace) going to a non-denominational church, I didnt feel at peace with the DaVinci Code movie or book.
I felt it was one man's speculation on what he deduced, but I felt he misunderstood Christ and His life as a Man - yet also God.
I do feel that as in any organization, there is corruption in the Catholic church. For example, I really feel Pope John Paul's failed assassination was an "inside job" --where various prominenant Catholic clergy in Rome probably did pay off that assasin to kill him-- but the attempt failed.
No church is perfect- because most of us humans don't really ask God to lead and direct in a church service.. Most things are done with man's good intentions and not through the Holy Spirit's leading. That is when confusion and corruption enter the picture.
God-- in His condescension, reaches out to people in all demoninations and even uses each person's demonination to lead them to Him-- even though that church isnt perfect.
