Hi Treva.
You asked what people think of the protocol the doctor gave you? Personally I think it’s a nightmare. I would personally never see that doctor again. He obviously doesn’t know enough about mercury. 600mg lipoic acid(ALA) has the potential to seriously screw you up. And when I say seriously I mean SERIOUSLY screw you up. That protocol is way way way too risky. Doing that when you are amalgam free is seriously risky but doing it with amalgams still in place is a recipe for disaster and just downright crazy. That kind of ultra high dose, with amalgams still in your mouth, taken once per day will hurt you SO much. i would expect that to pull gigantic amounts of mercury from your body and brain and your amalgams, some will be excreted and some will be redistributed and will resettle in various new places in your body. Because ALA crosses the blood-brain-barrier you will get mercury settling on your brain, and that is the last place you want mercury because that’s when it causes the most nightmarish of problems. At such high doses you will have massive redistribution. Massive!
The best thing you can do to never see that doctor again and buy “Amalgam illness” by Andrew Cutler. Read it then thank your lucky stars that you asked here about this mental protocol from that doctor.
I would guess that if you used that protocol it would put your health back at least 6 months, but prolly upto 1 year.
I don’t know anything about Chlorophyll but I know copper is bad and mercury people need to avoid copper.
I echo BG123 words [color:"red"] “treva, please don't do this.... This is the worst thing you can do for your health. The ALA taken once a day will concentrate mercury in your brain... very bad”[/color]
Don't do it.
