Hi Weety, Yep, I am in New Zealand! popping around for a chat would be quite a journey <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Nevermind, at least we can chat on here. You're very welcome for the advice. I just wish I could be of more help. Because personally the whole thing confuses me too. I just try and get as much information as I can and see what seems to work for most people. But sometimes that's not too easy either, given that everybody responds differently to different things.

Some people give no credence to the order removal of fillings, some give a lot of credence to it. How are we supposed to know which way to go? I suppose one tries to err on the side of caution, even if it might seem extreme, perhaps it's the wisest thing to go that extra mile for the sake of cutting down any risks as much as possible.

I think you are doing a very wise thing. Something I did NOT do. And that is to hold fire and do research. Yes it is financially pretty devastating (dental work and testing) and what a pity it is that they charge so much for it, when it's done for hope and sake of gaining health benefits because of what they did to us in the first place. How ironic. We pay for their mistakes basically.

I hope you do find a good dentist and hope you find someone who does the testing of amalgam readings and which ones ought to be removed first according to Huggins directions.. That would be at least ONE weight off your mind.

Good one on getting the Cutler book, one of my best buys. My book is falling to pieces, so that should give you some idea how often I was looking through it. I think he has one of the most logical best approaches to mercury and chelation. I think Huggins has one of the best approaches to safety procedures for amalgam removal, bicompatibility testing, diet recommendations etc. Both of these guys books are well worth having!

Best wishes on the research and keep us posted. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
