Has anyone had any success getting insurance to pay any portion? What about if you had a physician order to have it done. I think the new doc I'm seeing in two weeks will order it. I called the dentist I'm interested in and the receptionist said that medical insurance may pick up part in this case. I did forget to ask though, if there is a crown over an amalgam will the charge be for a crown, or for a filling replacement and a crown? Hmmmm.
