Hi everyone, Thank you for all your understanding and advice, it is such a comfort to come here and find all of you who understand what's going on.
I felt a bit embarrassed after posting that because I thought I came across as a grumpy teenager"nobody understands me...!" It 's a strange situation to be in at age 29.
My mother is at the dentists right now.I saw her thismorning and she was in a happy mood. She asked me what kind of filling she thought she should get and showed me the tooth in question and I got quite a shock when I saw inside her mouth There is almost more amalgam in there than tooth.Really. I think there is amalgam on most of her teeth, really big fillings.I did not count them because I didn't want to get too close to the mercury. Seeing all of that metal explains alot to me about the way she is, and the way I am. My mother had all the fillings in before she had any of her 7 children, Why,I wonder am I the only of the 7 suffering these symptoms? So strange. The others are fit & healthy ,running marathons ,doing triathlons etc. What happened to me? It is no wonder that they all doubt me,after all there are 9 in the family(incl.parents),all of us have amalgams and only one of us apparently sick.It would seem they do have a point.
But maybe, like some of you have suggested I should get myself well, and not spend time & energy worrying about all of that. When I am well I will go around spreading the word about mercury etc.
Anyway ,It was nice that my mam asked my advice today, but sadly I did not know what to suggest because the tooth in question had more filling than tooth and the huge chunk that fell out was at the side,I can't imagine how they would fix it, I actually think he might extract it altogether. It was such a shock to see so much amalgam in one mouth. explains so much.
I really appreciate all of your replies and support. Thanks a million.
My mam just got back from dentist and he's going to extract the tooth. It's completely insane that there is so much amalgam in her mouth.
