James, make sure that places like Sweden and Germany realise that mercury in amalgam is safe and ask why they've banned it. Some areas that haven't banned it are apparently required by law to put up warning posters re the mercury in amalgam fillings been known to cause reproductive and birth problems, so they'll probably need your expertise opinion also.

mercury can readily come off out of fillings because we are talking about quick silver. It vaporises readily, and only requires some extra heat and stimulation for that to increase much more. Even in small amounts, some more sensitive people are easily affected. It is also accummulative, so can build up over time. I'd say the closest metal to causing symptoms like mercury would be copper.

Amalgam toxicity doesn't usually happen immediately and often takes many years before symptoms show. By that time, even if the person does have their amalgams removed, they are usually on a low painful journey chelating the metals out of their tissues/organs. I've been there, I know what it's like. I could taste the metal, smell it on me when I sweated. I was swollen in the body tissues from toxins. I don't care if it was mercury, copper, tin or the lot.

All of those things eventually left me when I had amalgams removed and chelated the mercury. It took a few years for that to be completed.

By the way, your story on the autospy? Funny that, there was another one about a guy who had mercury poisoning severely. He was on chelation therapy and it had been thought that enough mercury would have been removed. Sadly, after he died and autopsy was done and his body was found to still be full of mercury...

anybody hear about the animal studies they did by filling teeth of sheep? And later finding the mercury in the organs and tissues.

The ADA and those who believe them, will follow any story about amalgam being safe and then insult anybody who is suffering from this condition as though it's all in their mind. I remind you that this is a support forum for amalgam fillings and mercury poisoning, not to get on here and call people's problems emotional, when clearly they are not.

PS, mercury testing is often difficult to interpret, as mercury is often tightly bound in the tissues/organs/brain. Other metals are much more easily detected and usually far easier to eliminate from the system. Mercury is different. The sickest patients are often the ones showing the lowest levels. Retaining it, rather than readily eliminating it. In those cases, one would like to see higher levels on testing as time goes on with chelation. Which can show it's then coming out. For those with retention toxicity, this is a challenge as people like this usually hang onto it, which is why they probably got sick in the first place.
