Thanks all for your welcome messages; I really appreciate them. although Hg poisoning has crossed my mind before, it's finally setting off my alarm bells. why on earth, I didn't believe myself the first time I thought it years ago, I don't know -- I mean it's MERCURY, come on!

sorry if I missed something, y'all (yup, I'm from Texas ). I have such a hard time concentrating these days, I'm having a hard time researching this. I jokingly say I don't have two brain cells to rub together anymore. DH can ask me to do him a favor and two minutes later I have forgotten about it. Yet, I continually obsess about my health and one thing or another -- to the point it feels like addiction. When I've mentioned this phenomenon to family, they just laugh and say it's part of growing old. Nope, not buying it.

I can totally relate. It's been literally YEARS ago, but I remember catching something on the news about mercury coming from dental fillings. It always stuck in my mind. I remember thinking at the time...Oh my god, if it can come from dental fillings...I have a mouth FULL, and if anyone has that, I DO. Then I didn't really hear anymore about it, and I just let it go. I guess like most people, I figured if it was REALLY that serious, they would be telling everyone that they need to be taken out. OMG, how I look back and wish I had done something then, and how much different my life could be now. I just didn't HEAR anymore about it, and I think that was the problem. People need to be made AWARE. The best way I have found is to kind of "humor" people I guess, and don't come on strong. I have tried that, and have been laughed at and looked at like I'm psychotic. With people, if it's not GOSPEL, they don't want to believe it. I now just try to "gently" tell people that I am sick (if I actually have to tell somebody), then I tell them that mercury is bad for you, it's in your fillings and that some people don't get sick from it, but I did. I pretty much leave it at that, unless they want to know more. Do I believe that some people don't get sick? Absolutely NOT. That is all many people's brains could comprehend though. I believe everyone is sick that has them. Not everyone is sick the way I am, because it does effect different people in different ways, BUT many of them would never believe that strange rash that just came out, or that dry skin, vision problems etc could be caused by fillings. Honestly, I probably would have had a difficult time making sense of it, myself. The ADA has brainwashed everyone. I just wish everyone didn't think that we are crazy. There are some people, that probably want to run when I'm around. I feel like people think I'm some "evangalist" that's going to preach a bunch of crap to them. I wish people didn't feel that way. I'm just like everyone else....I just want to save someone's life. I always say if I can save just ONE, I will be happy.

I have/had a hard time researching things too, and my memory is NIL. I joke about it, but I am SERIOUS and people don't believe me. I do joke about it with my husband, and he has no fillings, but I do believe he's been exposed, too, either through me or a broken thermometer. We neither one can remember anything, and it's scary. I am too young to be this way. My grandparents all lived into their 90's and they were ALL sharper in the head at 90, than I am now. I can walk into a room and just stand there, because I have no clue what I was going to do. I put something "UP" so I will not lose it, and I can't remember when I put it UP at. My life is CHAOS, and it's not fair to my family. Everything is a mess. I can't concentrate on one project at a time, I have to have multiple things going at one time (cleaning out the closet, sorting through old books, doings dishes, doing laundry, working on bills) and I go back and forth between all of them, never entirely EVER finishing one project, but half-doing all of them. I can't ever catch up with housework, I can't ever find those important papers that I need, so we all have to dump everything in the house looking for them, because there's no telling what I did with them. It is a waste of time, and a waste of my life. I pray that things will change when I start getting mine removed. Every little bit counts.

It also takes me several house of "thinking" about things that I have to do, and planning them out to where I can get them done. This is also a total waste of time, and I know it. I just can't go jump into something, without spelling everything out first.

Like right now, we just bought a sleepnumber bed from someone. My husband is bugging me to get it out of his truck. I have to clean our bedroom, rearrange it, find a place of everything that's not put away, then figure out where we're going to put the old mattress until someone can pick it up, and do all of this plus figure out what everybody is going to eat, and finish this post. He keeps harassing me, and standing here looking at me, and all the PRESSURE and stress just makes me want to cry and go hide somewhere. When everything gets to much, I want to go hide until it goes away.
Does that make sense to anyone? I never used to be this way.
