Yes, because mercury causes imbalances in body systems and especially hormones because it inteferes with those areas of the brain also, as well as the body. Either blocking, slowing down, or over- stimulating.

Removing mercury can often bring things back into balance again (if it is mercury doing this). Problem is, it takes time to detox this metal and in that time, one can be suffering from the ongoing effects of mercury and may need to take certain things to help them keep going.

Symptoms of OCD/anxiety are pretty classic symptoms too. I've had all that and it really makes you do some strange things or think in ways you wish you wouldn't. You feel almost unable to stop doing these things. Like ritualistic behaviours, constant checking, obsessive thoughts, etc.

Candida is also responsible for many things like this too because of its toxins that can affect the liver and brain etc.

So sometimes you have to treat more than one thing to gain any kind of relief from symptoms. Andy doesn't mention everything in his book, but he gives you a very good idea of what it can do.

E.g. mercury can often cause very low cholesterol levels or apparently high. I have had very low, I've also had very high. I don't take much note of them because I know cholesterol is actually vital for proper functioning and healing. And is not quite the baddie it's made out to be. Cholesterol is required for healing too and hal Huggins encourages people to consume butter, eggs and meat, whilst avoiding caffeine, sugars, gluten/wheat, milk.

I'm not saying it IS mercury, but I know that mercury can do almost anything to a person. Whilst one person can be underweight, another can be overweight and often unable to change their situation even with efforts. It's a poison that can seem to cause extremes.

I used to walk around with puffy legs all the time with this poison. I was just kind of bloated. I improved with the candida diet, but not entirely.

I think when you make efforts and there are persistant symptoms regardless of what you do? You can usually be sure there is something at work 24/7 that is not allowing healing to take place fully. You may improve by efforts, but there may not be that complete healing taking place and there is usually these underlying persistant odd symptoms that seem to remain. Often they are in the mouth! Unless someone is smoking a lot and drinking alcohol and consuming junkfood, in which case the cause of ongoing sickness maybe pretty obvious. But the body is pretty resisiliant and it should not be sick everyday unless there is an ongoing source of something keeping it down. Just my opinion.

I think it is well worth the effort to eliminate mercury either way out of your mouth, and body and treat any yeast or parasites too. At least it's one avenue you can do something about. Sometimes the only way you can find out what is wrong is just by eliminating and working on all possible factors and continuing this until you hopefully hit the jackpot.

Like with myself, replacing my ageing apparently incompatible composites wtih bicompatible porcelain....well it hasn't helped, but I had to do this in case it was a factor in my sickness. Plus I needed to get them done anyway.

next is possibly cavitation surgery if I can ever get that done. Trying to eliminate these things one by one is hard work, but doing nothing is just not an option.
