To all of you out there who are suffering I just wanted to say a word of warning: Parasites/candida/mercury all give you very similar symptoms. I thought I was suffering from mercury again since the summer, only to find out that mercury here was just the underlying cause. My fillings were drilled out 3 years ago, so no way that my symtoms could have been that sever (or worse!) again. I was diagnosed with intestinal parasites. If you are suffering from extreme fatigue, nausea, weight loss, joint pain, loss of apetite, anxiety, loss of sleep, panic attacks and more, please check yourselves for parasites as a possibility. It took only two days for me to get rid of them with proper medication and I am slowly getting my strenght back. This is a good site as well: http://www.cocreation.net/intestinal_parasites.htm

Nina,
How were you diagnosed with parasites exactly? And which medication did you use?
Thanks

Finn,
after being diagnosed from almost everything from depression to anorexia by having seen about 5 "regular" doctors who could not help, in my desperation to find out what is going on with me, I found a person who practises the Bi-digital or O-ring method. However, beware, this Japanese alternative medicine practise should really only be practised by those with extensive experience. After 5 days of following this protocol I started to feel better and to eat again.
You could opt to get a stool test, however from what I read you could still have parasites which are not able to be found in the stool.
The medication that I took for parasites is called mebendazole which is taken with food 3 times a day for 2 days. You repeat the medication after 15 days to prevent re-infection. I am currently taking a medication for candida mycoseb, and I must say I am not experiencing too many die-off symptoms, and am handling the medication quiet o.k. for the state that I am in.
After having taken mebendazole, it continues to work in your body for up to 3 days, and I have experience major "die-off" of parasites if you can call it that, needless to say this experience is not comfortable at all, but I am regaining my health after feeling ill 6 months on and off.
Proper diagnoses is tkey key here, and finding a good "doctor" to guide you through this.

Yeah, regular docs are useless. Stool tests are literally crap. Interesting, havent heard about that japanese thing before.
I myself was diagnosed with parasites by a biomeridian therapist who uses a msas device. I took the same kind of drug as you, fenbendazole for some days and now that she tested me again, there were no parasites left. I dont know if I feel that much better though..

Hello, I really agree with the parastie/candida/mercury link as well. However, I really disagree that the stool tests are not valid. I had my test through diagnos techs which is a very good company for this type of test. My doctor treats patients with candida and mercury and he uses this test. I had the extensive GI panel which found tape worm, roundworm, toxoplasma, and an ameba. Also moderate levels of 2 kinds of yeast. The only problem is that it tests for the antibodies for the parasties, so you have to wait at least 6 months to get re-tested. Otherwise, it will just come back positive even if the actual parastie is gone. I had my test 8 months later and got rid of everything!! I also had the urine test for toxic metals, pre and post tests. My level of mercury was 14 which is very high. It has been a year sinse those tests and I just took it again to see how I am doing. I want to get pregnant, so I need to make sure I got rid of the mercury. I'm so curious to see what the score is now. I cleaned up my gut, did 4 months of chelation, had FIRS. We shall see.
A year before getting the GI test I saw a different doctor. She recommended some kind of electo dermal type test. It said that I had NO parastes and no mercury. I just wish I had the the GI test and chelation challenge test sooner.

I believe that you were lucky to find such a great company that does such extensive testing! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> In general most regular doctors would not be able to provide accurate stool tests, so that's really good. Did you use one medication to treat all your parasites/ameba?
Finn, please note that it's imporant to repeat the medication after 15 days as this is the time when they can multiply again.
Also, I think the reason why I feel better is not just getting rid of parasites. It is the entire protocol that I am on, which uses magnets and magnetic water which is great for detoxing and getting rid of yeast etc, which this lady uses as part of her O-ring technique. Some people feel much better by doing this alone. Also, my sleep has greatly improved since I started putting a magnet underneath my pillow, it helps with melatonin production.
I have also taken antifungal for about 10 days to kill as much yeast as I could handle (although full dose was too much for me). I am now taking zeolite supplement which also helps further detox, boost the immune system and makes your gut not a pleasant place for candida, parasites etc. I will be taking this supplement for 2 months.
Again, I think that with this it's never one thing, and it was great to find someone who could address all of my problems that when linked together seriously impair your health.
Good luck Finn and let me know if you have any more questions. I hope you get better soon!

Nina, I also had C-diff along with everything else I mentioned. So, I took Florastor, UltraInflamX, oil of oregano, and a Rx. I can't remember the exact name, I think it was Trindazole or something like that. I took it for 10 days. I had intense die off! I had to decrease the oil of oregano and florastor and build back up to the recommended dose because I could barely function. I've been working full time the whole time I've been going through this, but I think I actually called off sick around that time. Glad you found some things that have helped. I'm not familiar with the magnet therapy you mentioned.

Nina, do you know what is this magnetic water supposed to do exactly? Balance the pH maybe? I just started taking this kind of homeopathic drink which should balance the pH.
Oh and another thing, did you feel the positive effects of those parasite drugs immediately? I remember that on the 3rd day I was taking fenbendazole I felt clearly better.. but sadly that didn't last for long.

Finn - about the effects of the medication, I started to feel better after 3 days after taking it. During that time I felt nausea and very toxic due to parasites dying off, so I felt ill right after the second day of medication. I read somewhere that the medication works up to 3 days in your system, and also I instantly started taking medication for candida, so I was toxic up to my eyeballs, but I had to follow the protocol in order for it to work.
I am re-taking the medication today and tomorrow and I am hoping that this time I won't feel any negative effects since this sould be for prevention only.
As far as magnetic water, yes, it is supposed to help with Ph balancing and oxidizing cells.
Chigirl, wow, I can't believe you managed to work most days while you were experiencing all of this! I guess in my situation I got so sick and had lost so much weight I could hardly stand on my feet without someone helping me up, so huge improvement in 3 weeks up to date. I go for a check up at the end of the month to make sure I got rid of bacteria, parasites and hopefully enough yeast!
