Found some very inexpensive bamboo flatware from a company called Crate & Barrel. Ordered them last week, arrived Monday. I really like them as they are asthetically very attractive and of course I'm not sucking on those yucky stainless steel (nickel) spoons and forks anymore. Best of all they are only $1.95 per set !!! Plus $7.00 shipping. I bought ten sets, so only $27 total !! I'd love to see some evidence that steel cutlery is harmful Then go look for it, plenty of links and articles on the internet regarding the subject. Read 'em and make your own decision. I've made mine.
