hello I get them all the time and the best thing I know of is some sea salt and baking soda in warm water. About a half teaspoon of each and wash eye with solution 3 to 4 times a day. Be careful not to get it in the eye itself...could burn a little. Works like a charm. Good Luck Rachel

I have a book that recommends Colloidal Silver (now called Silver Shield) for preventing styes, and I imagine it would help heal them as well. I've never used Colloidal Silver for styes, but I have used it for pink eye (conjunctivitis) and it cleared the infection up in like 24 hours. I've even used it in my cat's eye when she got an oozing eye infection. I dropped several drops in her eye (as best as I could) and in a day or so it cleared right up. I absolutely love Colloidal Silver...you can use it for so many things...cuts, wounds, infections, food poisoning, rashes, bites, etc. I make sure I never run out. Hope this helps,
