My son has contracted a very itchy rash that is spreading up his torso. He thinks he may have gotten it from an ex girlfriend who had the same thing.He has had it for a couple of months now and it consists of red spots,mainly small like measles,with some being larger. They are all over his torso,crotch, hands and elbows. Nothing on his upper body or face though. He has a doctors appointment tomorrow,but in the meantime, has anyone experienced something similar that they have succeeded in getting rid of? Because doctors advice isn't always satisfactory.

My sister and mother have used Pau d'Arco Lotion for poison ivy and it really helped them. I have another friend who has used it as a mosquito repellant and to help soothe and heal bad bug bites that itched terribly. The lotion stopped the itching and reduced the swelling and redness and there was no scarring after they were healed.
