Hey Bex -- Fleetwood Mac, groovy stuff

I'd never heard "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" until my husband played it for me. I thought it was a pretty cool idea. Now I just need Christina Aguilera or some rap star to do Shakespeare and maybe my students will be keener to study it

Can't say I ever liked heavy metal myself, but I love its granddaddies, Led Zeppelin. It would be cool if they decided to do a concert tour. They're maybe a bit creaky, and I doubt if Rob can still hit the high notes, but judging from their recent concert they've still "got it."

I used to work with a teacher who was a reporter in Birmingham when Robert Plant was trying to get publicity for himself and his new music career. Apparently the principal of his school insisted he would never amount to anything. For years afterweard he'd send the principal a post card from wherever in the world Led Zeppelin were touring LOL.
