I just wanted to send you some {{{{{hugs}}}}}}. You must feel as though you'd like to torture that dentist. I know I do and it's not even my child that's involved. But I'm a mother also and I understand entirely what you're going through.

I think our Bex has given outstanding advice, as usual.

I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you. And don't try to quash those Mama Bear protective instincts! They are there for a reason. If you have to literally bull doze people that might be in your path (including your mother-in-law) while you're giving the best care to your child, then you do it.

p.s. I'd personally like to hang that dentist by his toenails and give him a dose of his own medicine. Sorry to sound so violent, but nothing gets my feathers more ruffled then an issue like this involving a child.
