i avoid all perfumes, i use natural eco friendly detergent etc, body stuff too, but i thought citronella was an essential oil,you can buy it in health food shops,i use it to clean ,with tee tree oil. perfumes and chemicals in everyday products are hormone disrupters, i have banned them all.

It's really scary out there when you start figureing out that nearly every thing we come in contact with is toxic to us. Sure is not what God had intended for us. At least we know tho ...some people just don't want to here it.
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

I was just thinking about perfumes today...I am extremely sensitive to all of that stuff at the moment, can smell it a mile away... anyway I find it unbelievable that Kylie Minogue and that other singer Anasthasia ,who both suffered and recovered from breast cancer, go and launch their own brand of perfumes.
I find it amazing that these people, with all of that money already these people who have battled breast cancer, obviously do not know their stuff... millions of idolising fans are spraying themselves in that toxic stuff. I am sure that Kylie &Anasthasia just are not aware of the toxicity of these products & mean no harm. I'd like to tell them.

I've always been sensitive to chemicals like perfumes, furniture polish etc. I used to get really sick everytime I cleaned the house.
I know candida is responsible for this, but no doubt any other toxicity too. Just lowers you ability to cope. I treated my candida and my sensitivities lessened considerably.
But mercury was at the bottom of it for me then. So everything had to be treated eventually. I do not use perfume, but I used to once. I don't see the point in adding more things for my body to have to cope with. I don't even like bath perfumed stuff either. I've gone right off it.
I guess Kylie isn't aware of chemical overload perhaps or maybe does not consider scent/perfumes significant in that problem. Unlike Oliva Newton John who is very aware of these things.
