I'm glad you are planning to go to the hospital. I'm not a doctor and I'm not trying to tell you what to do. I just wanted to offer a suggestion or two for the hospital.


1. I would tell them that you've been running a fever off and on and that you have been feeling sick.

2. I would tell them about how your brain and head feels. The pressure, the wet feeling, the difficulty concentrating, the numb feelings in your extremities -- everything that you have been feeling in your head and the rest of your body as well.

3. I would tell them that you had what felt like a seizure-type episode awhile back.

4. I would tell them that you are very worried. You are worried that you might have had a stroke and/or might have some kind of infection.

5. I would not focus on your mercury toxicity at this visit. You already know you have mercury toxicity. I would focus on seeing if they can find out some other reason why you're experiencing all of this symptoms with your brain.

You want a fresh set of eyes looking at your case. And you don't want them going down pre-conceived roads of diagnosis.

You want to rule out other causes of your symptoms -- like infection or something structural going on in your brain or anything else that the doctors at the hospital can think of that could cause your symptoms right now.

Stick to your guns and insist that you get evaluated.

It's definitely worth doing this. Again, the reason for doing this is to have a fresh set of professional eyes assess you. Also, I think it's very important that you go just to make sure that you don't have anything urgent that needs attention. And if they do find something like an infection or whatever that needs to be treated urgently, then you'll be in a place where you can get treatment.
