I agree with Anonymous...magnesium citrate is an excellent, highly bioavailable (meaning absorbed and utilized by the body) form of magnesium. I, too, feel much better when I take extra magnesium. I take one called Magnesium Complex - it has both magnesium citrate and magnesium malate, which appear to be better absorbed and utilized than forms like magnesium carbonate, magnesium chloride and magnesium oxide. Plus, since they're in capsules, you can open the capsules and pour the contents under your tongue for even faster absorption.

Also, an earlier post mentioned that with vitamin E, the more natural forms containing mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols are better than your cheap vitamin E alone. The poster is absolutely correct. Here's a bit of helpful info:

Quote
Vitamin E is actually not a single entity, but rather a lipid (fat) soluble micronutrient containing 8 active, naturally occurring plant constituents—4 tocopherols (alpha, beta, delta, gamma) and 4 tocotrienols (alpha, beta, delta, gamma). Collectively, these compounds are known as vitamin E. Thus, research suggests that a prudent approach to vitamin E supplementation for a healthy individual may be to take a supplement providing mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols.8,25-32

I use Vitamin E Complete because it contains all 4 tocopherols and all 4 tocotrienols, plus selenium, which works together with vitamin E.

Whatever you do, don't get a vitamin E supplement that indicates it is dl-tocopherol, because this is a completely synthetic form.
