According to herbalists in the U.S., the best thing for heartworm as both a preventative treatment and to expel them is garlic and black walnut.
For large dogs, try using High Potency Garlic and Black Walnut ATC (you may need to use large doses).

Hi Laura!
This may also be good for humans as a preventative-- especially if you have pets. I just read that humans can pick up a certain type of heartworm-- if your'e immune system is low enough. There may be a possibility of picking up heartworm from an infected animal if you have Aids, Cancer, elderly, or a very impaired immune system.
It can be enough to finish a person off. Who knows how many people died of mysterious heart attacks- but the medical establishment wont tell the families it was due to parasites.
When my grandmother was in the hospital due to a stroke, I went with her to the Sonar room where the doctor scoped her heart with sonar technology. You could actually see her heart pumping on the screen.
I asked him if he ever saw any parasites in people's hearts. He looked at me very seriously-- and said, "im not at liberty to say, but let's just say--- we have seen very unusual things in people's hearts that didnt belong there".
I know that Black Walnut does work on purging parasites out from humans-- especially in conjunction with Wormwood and Cloves. I've used it and purged out many liver flukes with it. It has to be the fresh Green Hulls of the Black Walnut-- so read the labels.
Oregano Oil and Olive leaf are both good to take daily as a preventative. An animal may not care for the Oregano Oil,but they wont even notice if you add olive leaf to their food.

I know garlic is good for many things and I was using it for my dog. Now I hear and read everywhere, even at the vet, that garlic is not good for either dogs or cats. They say it is bad for the liver, and so are onions. What do you folks think about that? Is this just another scam to keep us using Big Pharma (not without danger for sure)?
