Tell me this: What matters more? That your worldly achievements include inventions that have helped people or even saved lives, that you'd led them to stand up for their rights, that you've touched individual lives by doing charity work or caring for friends and family in difficult times? Or that you've been kneeling in church and mouthing platitudes to a God who is apparently so narcissistic that all he cares about is how much he is worshipped? I think what we do here on earth, especially with/for other people, is worth a great deal. What else is the point in being here?

I'd say the kneeling. I fall into the category of people that believe that we are nothing without God, and that God blesses us with our abilities and even helps us achieve.

The world is a pretty messed place because people do so many things without God leading them and then all those mitsakes end up hurting people or causing other major problems. so... I guess if you want to spend your time spinning your own wheels in circles, doing things, some good some not so good, and then backtracking to fix things, you can live that way. but there is a better way, a much easier way, with God, with Jesus.

I'd also say it's a very narcissistic position to feel yourself too high and mighty to bow and worship at the feet of your creator.
