hey there everyone, I will need some input from you guys.

My mental state has been plummeting again the last couple of days and I believe I'm now closer than ever to being committed, esp since my family is CERTAIN it's all in my head...

So I started to research things - as limitied as it is in my state - and recalled the whole schziophrenia/niacin connection. A psychiatrist named Hoffer treated patents with schizophrenia with highd doses of niacin and the interesting connection is that most schizophrenics do not get a flushing reaction on niacin.

Now over a year, before the additional poisoning at the dental office and about a year into fighting candida I noticed I wasn't getting the flushing response from niacin anymore even if I took huge amounts of it.

While I'm not saying I am schziophrenic (not that it really mattered it's just a aname) I do have a serious brain problem like them.
Now I remember clearly 3 years ago - just at the beginning of my fight with candida - and when things still weren't that bad, that I was getting a flush response from taking niacin.

And I have wondeered since then that something must have happened druign my first year of sickness that shut dow the natural reaction to niacin, and it may be realted to my severe brain problem.

Perhaps heavy metals?

Just wanted to know guys what u think of this theory and whether it is something worth checking into. Also I'd ask everyone please to tell me if u get a niacin flushing reaction and at what dosage.
