I read that oatmeal does help flush alot of the mercury out of the stomach and intestinal tract.-- get the unrefined Irish oatmeal!
Also t Psyllum is good to use a few times a month to scrape the gunk out-- but be sure to have enough liquids between meals. Also to not over due it. Using psyllum every day can irritate the Celia in the intestines, so use in moderation. Nevertheless, it is awesome in sweeping things out when they get out of hand!
I use psyllum capsules for 7 days each month.
The rest of the time, Ive been using the herb , Cascara Sagrada mixed with some other herbs. That stuff actually ISNT a laxative, but , rather, a stimulant! It tones and stimulates the bowels to push out fecal matter and doenst create a dependency. It actually is good for the lower intestine and colon in keeping the muscles in shape if they have gotten lax. A laxative won't do this. Even the herb, Senna, is a laxative- so I'd rather stick with Cascara Sagrada the majority of the time.
That stuff really works too! If I take two capsules at night, I really get cleaned out in the morning- yet the elimination is gentle.
Scince childhood, I have always eaten rough unrefined type foods because I love the feel of the food moving down my throat. I hate mushy refined things. I never had stomach aches in my life, or any type of irritable bowel issues, etc., The only time I get constipation is when eating pies and desserts with refined flour, and lots of dairy and meat. Usually after a large dinner of meat , etc., I would crave a bag of popcorn for the roughage.
Nowadays I dont eat meat, but eat more raw veggies and fruits- (except turkey now when getting my fillings replaced for the animal protein!)
My grandmother never ate anything with fiber because she was told it would hurt her. She peeled everything- even apples, before she ate them. She was mortified at eating an apple core or apple seeds with the apple. She died of advanced colon cancer in her 60's..
