Anyway, I have discussed the issue with my parents and we're trying to work out what to do. They're thinking having the root canaled tooth pulled (minimize exposure to any more mercury) and replaced (and possibly the other tooth as well.) I'm thinking about going the NYU dental school clinic since the procedures would be very expensive. I don't think I'm going to detox after the procedure considering since I haven't had these fillings for a very long time, but I'll definitely consider your opinions.
Hi, glad to hear things are underway and hope for the best! Just a question, you said you're having the root canal tooth pulled out...and replaced. What do you mean by replaced?
Root canals are so toxic, as to be worse than mercury. So when they pull the root canal tooth, make sure they clear the entire socket and leave NOTHING behind.
Sosick on here had one and got very ill from it, worse than what the amalgams did if I'm right. And she got hers pulled and felt better.
Cavitations are another toxic hazard and again the toxins created from this are worse than mercury according to Hal Huggins. I can believe it, if it's what I have (which is apparently so), then this is a worse suffering than what mercury did to me. They are created after tooth extraction and failure of the bone to grow over the hole left in the jaw. This can be caused by the dentist or oral surgeon failing to remove the periodontal ligament (that once held the tooth) from the jaw and leaving it to stay there. In doing so, because it has no further use, it blocks or hinders healthy healing and bone growth. Another one that can cause this is the use of vaso constrictors in anaesthetics, which restrict blood circulation to the area.
So though it may all sound paranoic, it is all very serious and not something you muck around with. It is not worth a risk to wind up a possible invalid. This has happened to people. So if you get the root canal tooth removed, make sure the dentist clears the entire socket OUT. Don't let them leave a thing there. And request the non vaso constrictor anaesthetic.
It is actually pretty simple, you just need to talk this over with the dentist before they do the job. Be clear on what you want. Be clear that you want every scrap of amalgam out before anything is replaced.
IN reality, you should be going to a biologic dentist because they understand these things. mainstream dentists usually do not. I know the cost is the big issue here, and that makes these things very difficult. If you don't have much choice? I just hope the mainstream dentist is one that listens and complies with your concerns and requests regardless of what she/he thinks of the amalgam or root canal toxicity issue.
Once you get these things out of you, you can still do things to help your body get rid of the toxins left behind. Doesn't necessarily have to be strong chelation either. You can get homeopathic detox kits that aid the body to do this and are very good (Heels is one I used and it works).
Hot baths with epsom salts or sea salt and baking soda (cup each or more). And sweat it out! But don't push yourself to go too hot if you cannot stand it or be there too long if you can't handle it. Just as much as you can tolerate. Toxins escape via the pores.
There's plenty you can do, diet and supplements too. Eliminating bad foods and eating the good and drinking herbal teas (especailly those that support the kidneys. liver etc). Going for walks, rebounding on a mini trampoline. Anything to support your body in elimination. But never overdo it, always go with your body.
anyway, I just hope the dental work turns out well for you and the dentist listens to any concerns.
